Thank you Spence from CORE4X4 for sending me these upper rear control arms for my Ram 1500 to complete my rear set , I show what it takes to install the upper reaes in this video. link for core4x4: www.core4x4.co...
Bought the same ones from core4x4 upper and lowers because my old ones bushings were disintegrated and they all would move side to side. After replacing them it was like driving a new truck. Stiffened up my rear a lot.
Was thinking the same thing. Just when I get comfy in my chair, leaned back, chillin, and BAM... another ad. Been a MOPAR man since 1991, always wanted to have a quick Ram (even though it'll probably never happen), and have to enjoy those Rams through guys like you. Keep it up!!
So I seen your video and decided to buy these. My stock upper and lower are worn out from towing. I have a shifting in the rear when letting on and off the gas. Hopefully these fix the problem 🙏
Nice. You'll notice a huge difference when ya get to the track. Insurance is supposed to be looking at my truck tomorrow. Pretty sure shes totalled. Gunna be on the lookout for another QC 4x4 to start over.
I just installed the lower control arms yesterday and was doing some burn outs and the passengers side bushing blew out. Now there's a loud thud you can hear and feel Everytime I take off. They worked great when they weren't broken. I noticed you put the adjustment nut towards the rear. I also did this I've seen some other guys put the adjustment nut towards the front didnt know if it mattered since the kit does not with instructions
@@IncredibleHemi1111 yeah they're both forward! And I did grease them... I did like 5 pumps on each fitting. I stopped pumping as soon as I saw the bushing start to move... I didnt know, I wish he would send some instructions with them! Hopefully he'll send a new bushing out or something..
@@elifernandez3769 he should cuz there lifetime warranty, but the johnny joint comes pre greased , n I think so does the other, so I definitely think u over grease them
@@IncredibleHemi1111 I greased them because they came with the fittings not on the control arms I had to put the fittings on and I didn't see grease on them but yeah your definitely right I guess I over greased them lol... I emailed Spence hope I get it fixed soon. This thing did the best burn outs with them on!!! I stomped on it and layed perfect straight lines for like 70 feet!! Haha
I would think the 60’ would drop at least a tenth which would be roughly .2 in the quarter. Your truck is stupid fast, keep up the good work! I would like to get a set of these control arms down the road at some point.
Hi Hemi Brother . I dont have any mods on my 2014 ram 4x4 4dr. Yes on occasion I get wheel hop. Happens right off the line .. uh get it rolling a lil first. I know this can't be done at the track .
How necessary are those as far as a mod to someone who doesn’t go to the track. But has a tuner w/custom tune, headers, Flowmaster exhaust, cold air intake, pedal commander and goes off roading from time to time?
There are very good still cuz they are also recommended for lifted trucks plus a lift a big wheels should have wheelhop also n this will eliminate that you only really need the lowers the upper are just a added bonus
@@IncredibleHemi1111 you are welcome and thanks for sharing with us. Very appreciated to see a working man with family enjoy and maintain a hobby that can be affordable.
Hey man to start off I love your channel and what you are doing with it, your truck is badass. I have a question. I have a 2017 ram sport 4 door crew cab with the 5.7. I already have it lowered, with a k&n drop in filter and a cat back exhaust. Would a tune be worth doing or should i wait till i more mods done to tune it? I want to get more out of the truck but don't have the money yet to get longitudes and y pipe. I also plan on getting more bolt ons. I basically want to get my truck to low 13's possibly 12's.
Do you think the control arms would help with highway vibrations. I got the ram 72mph vibration. Have new shocks, new wheels and tires, everything is balanced and aligned. I’m at wits end
My ram dealer had a engineer come in and they hooked up computers, replaced drive shaft, put on 2 different set of tires with no resolution. Then he told me I’m within there allowed vibration tolerances and told me to live with it. I had it a month after that and it was gone.
These are much heavier duty n has a Johnny joint , I cant explain it I'm not an engineer but they are great they can probably explain it more on there there website
It looks like the length is adjustable or am I seeing it wrong? If they are adjustable, did you just install them at the same length as the stock arms or did you have to mess around with the length to get them right?
@@IncredibleHemi1111 hell I dont know I just watch every now and then to be honest. I wanna stay NA and make some more power. Just wondering about real world experience since you have done the work and know how it works. I wanna do the vararoom cai lth true duals catless electric fan and a tuner with 3.92 or 4.10 gears. Do you think that will wake it up.
