Anatidaephobia isn't actually a real phobia. It was a joke made up in a comic strip. A fear of ducks or geese would actually be considered a subtype of ornithophobia, the fear of birds.

That's basically the entire reason why I have passion to learn English. The sheer professionalism and charismatic tone while describing the most ridiculous and detached from reality things just hits my funny nerve the right way.

@@Engardian This ended up being quite long, but if you really want an explanation, read on: Well on the few occasions I have held plant roots, I remember there being a fear that it would begin to grow rapidly and entangle and constrict me. Obviously, I know this to be impossible on a logical level, but fear has a tendency to override rational thought in favor of getting you to safety, which is an issue with irrational fears of things that are harmless to begin with. Also it might be worth noting that, based on my limited experience, my fear extends somewhat to vines, specifically the thick kind that grow in forests and jungles that wrap around trees and tighten, essentially "choking" and killing them. I recall feeling uneasy the one time I was around those. But I'm mostly fine with things like grapevines, though I would prefer not to hold the vine for extended periods of time. Also, when it comes to barky tree roots that are close to the base of the trunk and stick out of the ground a little, I can be near and even stand on those just fine, and I can even touch them with my bare hand, though I prefer not to do that last one. But if a tree is uprooted (or if a tree is growing near the side of a cliff and the roots stick out of the cliff) I'm not going anywhere near those roots.

Yes it can, actually. Bibliophiles, cinemaphiles, and audiophiles are people that have a vested interest in books, films, and audio respectively. Audiophile has also been used to refer to people with a great interest in music, but it more generally refers to audio itself.

I think usually when people don't know a word, they pause the video and spend 1 second looking it up, or just skip the video if they're lazy, rather than finish the whole thing with no idea what's going on and then publicly admit that, but who am I to judge
