Today, I take on a huge 20-mile long run in the middle of a 90-mile week! I keep getting closer and closer to that 100-mile-per-week goal and I've truly enjoyed the journey of getting there. Comment down below some thing that you want me to include in future videos! Next video, I'm planning to highlight a recovery day before releasing the final episode of the 100mpw journey!

Your vids are exactly why there truly is no difference between a RU-vid with 5k subs vs 5 mil. Your quality and videos are better than most popular RU-vidrs. Keep the vids coming G

Easily my favorite new channel on RU-vid. The intentions over everything motto along with the story behind it, the way you express your thoughts and methods towards things in life, and of course the fantastic running - it doesn't get any better. Keep it up man, and thanks for the great content!

Quick question- I see you stopped a few times on the long run which makes me wonder how much you think it affects, if it affects the quality of the run at all?
@Hydrogenations
@Hydrogenations 11 месяцев назад
Long runs are simply aerobic, so it's okay to stop a couple times. It would be different if he stopped or rested too long in the middle of a workout.

Yeah! It’s not gonna cut down on the aerobic strength I’m able to build. Stopping for a minute or two to snag some fluids or go to the bathroom isn’t gonna make me any less fit

If you love data, it’s for you. If you aren’t a fan of data, don’t get it. It accurately tracks sleep and recovery pretty well. I usually don’t like it when a device tells me how i should and shouldn’t feel. There have been days and weeks where I’ve been in the red for my recovery, but continued to train at maximum capacity. I’ve got about a month left on my 18 month subscription, but it honestly does the same as my Coros for most of what I use it for. To be honest, I don’t know if it’s worth it? But I’ve got the subscription, so I might as well wear it until it runs out.

19:37 as a freshman is a great starting point! Stay consistent, keep your easy runs easy, and your workouts hard. Consistency in the summer before XC, or the winter before track, is extremely important for growth year to year. I went from 18:30’s at the beginning of freshman year down to 15:28 by the end of senior year. You got this brother!
