It's algorithms heavily base things on how long a video is watched on a channel. Animators usually can't make full length videos due to time constraints, meaning they get less total watch time. Egoraptor could make a two minute animation and Pewdiepie could do a thirty minute video, as an example. Even if someone watched all of Ego's video, if someone watched ten minutes of Pewd's, he would be noticed more because more of his video was watched. What's worse is that content creators are forced to upload frequently to stay relevant, meaning animators get more screwed over, even if they make long videos.

Well, a PC is a higher price AT FIRST. In the long run though, you end up paying more for a console then you would for a 400-1000$ pc. If you can afford a console then you can EASILY afford a PC as long as you save money.

As a huge Egoraptor fan I wish he would make more original solo animations, but as an animator myself (as good or garbage I may be) I totally understand his want to just chill out with his successful let's play channel and his other business stuff. I've done my research on consoles and pc's and honestly, it's ultimately up to the consumer. I prefer console, because I like to have friends over. We like to sit on the couch, eat pizza, and have our eyes glued to the giant flat screen in the room. We like to play sport games and have multiple people playing at once. Maybe even a little COD at times. We talk shit on the mic and stuff. I just can't see myself moving around with a WASD key and controlling my character without a grip. Don't get me wrong, I've considered doing pc gaming many times. I've asked friends, and I only know one who's into PC gaming. Being social, that's a disadvantage. I'd love the graphics, but it'd really just not be as fun for me as playstation/xbox. Hopefully one day when I get my finances good, I can do both.

But I've always been a good bit more mature than my fellow classmates, so while I may not have facial hair or have lost my virginity (yet), I still have plans for the future and can have the patience and dedication to build my own pc and my own crossbow. I have also published my own book at eight, and I currently am attempting to establish world peace through this youtube channel by promoting empathy and open-mindedness. So while I may not be a man now, I am aspiring to be a pretty goddamn awesome one, if I do say so myself. :D

Tom Hanley be mad, but if devs weren't stuck trying to dumb down they're games to work on consoles, the PC counterparts would be a lot better. Even more so than the case is already. But they need the money to develop those new games so they make the game on as many available platforms as possible.

When people say that PC isn't cheaper, they forget to acknowledge that you probably ALREADY have a PC and probably always will. If you play a console however, you gotta buy it so that's PC+CONSOLE. In the other hand if you use your computer to play too it's just GAMING PC. And PC+CONSOLE is just the same price as a GAMING PC. So quit the hating (on both sides) , they're both almost the same thing and equally good.

Yeah if you're buying the shit that just came out, and more often than not that stuff has bugs and kinks so you shouldn't even bother with buying the new shit. The computer i'm currently using was built with a budget of 800 dollars, 3 years ago. The parts inside my computer you could probably buy for around 550 or 600 dollars now. And you know what games I can run? EVERYTHING. The Metro Series, Crysis Series, fucking Battlefield 3 and 4. Skyrim, Arma 3. Not to mention games look nicer on PC. So to say that you need to buy a 400+ dollar part to build a gaming computer is complete bullshit.

These arguments that either PC or Consoles are dead are silly. They're both doing fine. And I believe the line separating them will continue to dwindle until you cannot call them either PC or Consoles anymore. I hope that one day Steam, IOS, XBLA, PSN, and Wii Store allow everyone to download their software from what ever device you wish. I believe that's the biggest wall dividing all these platforms. Then there will really be no more difference.
well yeah technically, but I think what he's getting at or at least what I am is that with each new generation these consoles are restricting less and less of what you can do with them until eventually there really will be no difference in capabilities

Then perhaps they would need to make upgradeable hardware so that they can keep up with the games that need higher and higher specs.
