I loved the Sega Home Alone game when I was a kid. It seemed innovative and I like how it actually allowed you to engage in home defense and make customized weapons. The game has an element of exploration, requires some strategy, and always presents a reasonable challenge.
I absolutely love the Home Alone game for the Genesis. I mean seriously, it was one of the first games where you could build/customize your own weapons! The music is super catchy and the goal of the game is unique and pays homage to the movie. I’m sure nostalgia plays a role in my opinion, but I definitely don’t think it’s a bad game by any means.
The Genesis version is actually pretty damn good, and very unique for its time. It's still hard for me to believe that it has a full-fledged crafting system. How many other games on SNES/Genesis had that!?
Home Alone Mega drive is one of my favs. Music is something I even have in a playlist, and the gameplay is so unique. The snes version was shockingly bad though.
Home Alone on the Sega Genesis is a great game. A couple of years ago I bought it for 2 bucks and decided to try it just to see if it would play. I turned it on and planned to play for maybe 5 minutes and I found myself playing the entire night and beating the game on every difficulty. I love this game. And the sound is kickass. That Weird Science tune actually fits the game.

I always w8 for a new videos from you guys, i dunno why but i found all those awkward and stiff acting extremely hilarious, especially on your early videos XD Your channel definitely need more views, somehow i found it more entertaining than many larger game reviewers channel i've ever watched, i'm serious.
+Console Wars would you guys be interested in some PAL exclusive megadrive games such as Donald in maui mallard, Micro machines 96, Cannon Fodder, Captain Planet e.t.c.? they work on a US system because the Genesis/Megadrive is not region locked. I live in UK and Megadrive games are quite easy to get a hold of wish SNES stuff was as easy xD
I hated both versions of street racer, it actually has a lot of differences between both versions I don't think it was EU exclusive tho, may send copies to Dan and Greg to review if that's the case.

Snes home alone, super ghost and goblins, and super Mario World are the first games I ever got for my 4th bday. It took me over 20 years to beat this freaking game.

Your videos are so hilarious to watch. I was nearly crying when I saw how terrible Nintendo's graphics and cut scenes was. It made the SEGA game look polished in comparison lol. I always look forward to new episodes :)
The part with the snow shovel guy beating the robber to a pulp kinda reminds me of Peter Griffin's portrayal of the lumberjack in the fairy-tale themed episode of "Family Guy". XD

The genesis game traumatized me as a kid. My dentist had one of those genesis demos in their office that would scroll through games... this game was on it. I was a dumb kid, so I always got caught immediately, and I remembered it scared the hell out of me as a kid.
Saturday Night Slammasters! You guys would have a lot of fun doing this great game. Both console versions have pluses and minuses, for lots of sweaty brawling arguing.
You know what I would like to see, just to be different? A Super Nintendo controller vs a SEGA Mega Drive 6 button controller. I love my SNES controller, but as I have gotten older I have appreciated the SEGA Design more. Just a thought, I know you guys are more software orientated. Keep up the awesome work guys, we will get you to the 100,000 subscriber mark easy!

+ALEXANDRE D. WITT It would be interesting to say the least to see Turrican III - The Final Fight Vs Turrican IV aka Mega Turrican Vs Super Turrican in action. But then it would make more sence to do AMIGA Vs SEGA on Turrican III but they don't have an AMIGA to use that in the Console Wars because they are based in america which the AMIGA was sold at silly prices in plus most of the games doesn't work in NTSC because they are made for PAL although on the 1200s there was a fix because you could run your machine in either region mode. Still III Vs IV would be fun too so I agree with that war.
I love the episodes where you compare the worst games haha. Great idea. This is another one I completely agree with, the Genesis version is waaay better. Not perfect, but much better. Great one again! Better practice those brick throws though...
Yup i agree the Genesis version is definitely better than the snes version and I pretend like the snes version never existed. The one thing that pisses me off about the Genesis version is that u slip over your own f**king traps. Did that happen to Kevin in any of the two movies...NOOO! I don't care if I get captured by Harry and Marv and nailed to wall so much because number one I always do anyway and that did happen to Kevin in the movie and he did get captured in the second movie too.

Dude, I love the Genesis game!!! I agree that Super Nintendo totally sucks. But also the Sega game was the first game to have a weapon building engine, while Super Nintendo basically rehashed another side scroller game with nothing original to add. So I basically agree that Super Nintendo is the worst game for Home Alone.
Can you please review The Adventures of Tintin both on Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo? Also I'm getting awfully tired of rewatching these so many times
