I never played the Genesis version, but this game has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I still fire it up once a year for play through. It's not as good as T2 Arcade, but I feel it's a little more fair.

Nice video. One thing I would like to add is that the SNES version has Mouse support which improves the gameplay a bit. The interesting thing though is that on the SNES mouse they mapped the primary fire and pause to the left mouse button (which can lead to a lot of fun getting someone to play who doesn't realize this). You just need to double tap though to play and I do find that moving the mouse around is much better than using the D-pad.

This is probably my favorite Console Wars video so far. Love the band scenes haha.

I first heard of this game (I think) from when "Nostalgia Critic" did a review of "The Blues Brothers" on SNES. This does look like a pretty oddball, "so bad its good" kind of game like "Hong Kong 97" and "Violence Fight". Also more props to Dan and his musician skills in this episode. 🎶BABES IN SEGA!🎶

Where can I download "Fart in my face!"? I'm going to blast that as I drive around town. Even if the Genesis version didn't win, I still would have went with it instead for the BABES IN SEGA!!!!!!!! Seriously, though. I've never heard of these games until now. I own a few celebrity games, like Michael Jordon: Chaos in the Windy City, and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, but I've never owned this. I'm not sure if it would be the game for me anyway. Yet another suckaweet video, guys! Keep up the great work!

Oh man, one of your best episodes yet!! Greg looking for the lives counter--that had me rollin' hard! I laughed me ass off! Fuckin' smart-ass. I had always stayed away from this game cuz when I was a kid I really hated Aerosmith. Still not a fan today, but I don't have the same burning disdain for them now like I did in the '90s. This game actually looks like a lot of fun. I still think I would prefer the SNES version for the sound alone, but I think I'll take the safe route and go with the PlayStation version. Great episode, guys! Love the songs for the video and would love to hear you guys make more music for future videos. The "Babes" song had great lyrics, and mixing the chick's 'thank you' into it was pure gold!

I remember it being 1996/1997 and renting the Genesis version and playing it with my dad, along with Two Crude Dudes. It's just so silly and fun, especially with 2 players. I bought the SNES version a few years later in the early 2000s, and I remember being super disappointed with it. My friend Jaime even said it looked "cheap." The best home conversion is supposedly the Sega Saturn one, but there was a PS1 version as well. Would be interesting to compare those two. Awesome video, dudes!

As muffled as the sound is on SNES, it's impressive how they managed to put all of this songs on a single 1,75mb Super Nintendo cartridge and still sound good and recognizable, the Sega Genesis version doesn't sound bad at all, but it ends up being quite different compared to the SNES/DOS/Arcade version because it's not based on samples.

The acting in this series is so cheesy and ridiculously amateurish... I love it 😄 Off to play some Smash TV now thanks to another of these I watched recently!
