I never realized what an awesome looking game this was! Gotta get this for my Genesis

Music & sounds effects are far better on Sega. Quality might not match Nintendo, but the effects made the game epic & exciting on Sega. The sound effects are part of the gameplay, and Nintendo is missing all of it.

I remember my cousin playing this a lot on the Genesis (along with MK2, Eternal Champions, and Sonic the Hedgehog when his wee cousin was around).

Well done. But a couple of the requests at the end were people asking for Super Wrestlemania, which is a different WWF game on the Genesis and SNES (also: Royal Rumble and Raw). But yeah, it's a slam dunk for Genesis, I mean, why even bother playing if you can't play as "The Beast from the East" Bam Bam Bigelow?

I was thrilled to see a new Console Wars video in my subs. What a great way to start the day. Count me among those who liked the puppets. I thought they fit in well with the wrestling theme. I was really surprised to learn how much stuff the SNES version was missing. I think eight characters is the minimum for a game like this, and it still seems like too little. I picked up the Genesis version right when it came out in 1995 because the Saturn version was a long way off. I was very impressed with the overall quality of the port when I played it. I was disappointed with earlier arcade ports like Mortal Kombat, so it was nice to see this one turn out better. Great video as usual, guys.

Music on Sega sounds bass! I am a PSP, PS3, PS4 Fan so Sega does it for me, you also need 'more' characters because it means more moves, so less chance of being bored!

Another quality video guys! I'm still waiting for FFVI vs. PSIV, even though I think we all know who's going to win. Also, the voice of the cop muppet reminded me of Carl from ATHF - hilarious.

You should do an episode on Double Dragon (NES) vs Double Dragon (Sega Master System).

I was just digging through my box of sega games and I found this in my collection. I didn't know I had it because it was originally my cousin's and he had tons of wrestling games on the system.

If you guys ever cover wrestling games again, I'd love to see Saturday Night Slam Masters. Besides, it"s cool to see Mike Haggar on the Sega.
