There's a 3rd reason, I was having caffeinated drinks and workouts daily and got this constant urge to pee. I felt an insatiable thirst and a need to pee every 40mins. Turns out I depleted my sodium levels, simply needed to add a pinch of salt to each meal and I was back to normal in 1-2 days. Hope it helps someone.

@donjonjr1
@donjonjr1 3 года назад
@Raghuvir N that is rough! Has citrus been any help to you since it blocks calcium from combining with oxalates for the formation of kidney stones. Though I suspect dehydration from constant urination could be the main culprit. Have your doctor's been able to figure out the issue of constant urination; diabetic, insulin resistance, too much sugar, kidney issues/infection. As for the prostate, lycopene in tomatoes is good for prostate health. Though cook down forms of tomato tomato sauce tomato paste are needed for an adequate dose. Though the high potassium can be tough on the kidneys if they are not functioning properly, or the adrenal glands are having issues. Hope you can find some relief from this torture.
@donjonjr1
@donjonjr1 3 года назад
@Raghuvir N I had to look up horseshoe kidney never knew that was a thing, sorry to hear that it's causing you problems. But great to hear you're able to improve your hb1ac. Maybe try drinking tea as it can have an insulin sensitive effect on the body the opposite of coffee. I found this out because of my own personal issues of insulin resistance possibly due to coffee to were I was waking up 4 to 5 times a night to urinate and urinating almost every hour throughout the day like my father. It was driving me nuts. At middle age this shouldn't be happening to me, then my brother took a break from coffee and I realized I (because of the pandemic) I haven't taken a break from coffee in almost 2 years which I typically do at least once a year. Which led me to researching the issue to figure it out and able to help my father. But I found switching from coffee to tea within three days I was only waking up twice a night and then within a week once a night and my daily urination returned to normal. After about a month of tea my body had no craving for it either so I quit caffeine all together at that point. This was at the beginning of this year, I do drink coffee again but only 1/2cup a few days a week. The whole thing was at the time I was only consuming one cup of coffee a day when my insulin resistance triggered leaving me to think it was more of a symptom of something else that I'm still working on figuring out. Wish you better health going forward.

I had spent years trying to figure this one out. Stop drinking carbonated sodas. Stop using antihistamines. Start drinking Aloe Vera gel. One Christmas, my friend bought me some Aloe Vera Gel. Thanks doc! I’d just like to add another cause that you didn’t mention, and that is that it could be due to pelvic floor dysfunction. When the pelvic floor and connecting muscles are full of trigger points and very tense/tight, they do not let the urinary tract relax fully and can cause urgency even with an empty or nearly empty bladder. This was something that I found out I had years ago, and with the proper physio in those muscles and getting control of my anxiety, the urgency went away and my bladder was finally able to feel properly emptied. If you’re peeing and it feels like it’s stuck or "constipated", and you get urgency within minutes of finishing, this could be the problem you have. Mine still comes back occasionally when I am very stressed or anxious. I hope this helps someone out there!

BUT I had severe anxiety and thought this may have been chiming in to make things worse. I am in Ukraine and away from australia,, long story,, so pretty extra stressed for many reasons.. not sleeping soooo, took solid doses of Valerian, alcohol extract, ... works for sleeping to some extent, BUT.... I now dont get up in the night anymore... go figure... and not so urgent to pee in the day. If u have these problems coffee does not help, but I still drink it and its not so bad. Soooooo not sure if pumpkin seed oil and fasting is helping but I have noted improvements FOR SURE. Now to get onto saw palmetto and a few other herbs,, hardish to source in ukraine ,, not easy in europe either due to language. Hardish to get post into Ukraine as well. I am also fasting and eating a cracking diet, may need a bit more protein but high on best fats, sugar and starch under control. Gave up beer... good God... what happened!!! BUT, strangely.... woo woo, In Poland I could drink a litre of beer and not pee all night.. mmm strange I thought, but I suspect the HOPS and alcohol reduced anxiety and so assisted in some way. Its complex...

As you pointed out in a previous video dandelion leaves also increase the amount of urine produced. I've found that the roots also do this and they are good for the liver. As an aside, for people with tooth ache, it being so difficult to see a doctor at the moment, a small piece of silver, pure or sterling silver, in the mouth, near the tooth gets rid of the pain quickly and for as long as the silver is in there. It won't improve the tooth of course but there won't be any pain, so no pain killers are required.

I had this problem since I was 16. It was the prostrate getting too large. My father had it all his life as does my uncle. Fasting regularly seems to have fixed it. Or at least that was the only change I made in my lifestyle and the change from peeing 20 times an hour to maybe once or twice a day. The change happened quite fast. Though in my case, my bladder wasn't partly full. It was completely empty. In fact, a doctor was unable to find it on an ultrasound because of how small it was. The conclusion was that the prostrate was pushing on the nerve that detects bladder fullness.

One important reason for repeated urge to urinate for women is having a cystocele (even mild) where the neck of the bladder becomes affected and a pseudo sac holds drops of urine after urination, you get up walk, you feel need to go again. Must have felt it to understand the experience. Kegel exercise is only treatment at home for mild , can have transvaginal laser for mild & moderate. Talk to your OBGYN about repair methods. Also untreated cystocele cause repeated UTI Cystocele is often mistaken for low estrogen as a reason for repeated UTIs in post menopausal

The recent freeze in Texas cause me to go involuntarily cold turkey because I didn't have access to those thing. And I noticed after seven days the heavy urinating stopped. I've been careful watching my salt intake and so far so good. Before I would get up in the middle of the night and urinate at least five times. Now I'm sleeping 8 hours solid and only go when I wake up. I still think my prostate may be enlarged because the stream is not that strong. The days when I don't eat anything sweet, this kind of urge vanishes completely like a bad dream. Give it a try: don't touch anything sweet for 2-3 days, including food with sorbitol or sweet fruits. Actually, I have data on myself going back years and I drop more water during keto than non-keto sugar eating. This is well past the adaptation phase. I go keto about 6 months out of every 12 months and have done so for the past 8 or so years. When I keto, I have to take many frequent long pisses in the night. At least 2-3 times per night I am unloading at least 1 litre of fluids. Only when I am off of keto and am eating a moderate amount of carbs am I able to get through the night without taking a piss. Again, this isn't a bladder capacity problem, nor is it a sensitive bladder. It is simply tons of fluids going right through me. I have tried salts, tried cutting off the intake of fluids 3 hours before bed, no caffeine past noon, etc... Nothing really works. It might change from getting up 3 times to 2, but ultimately, I don't ever sleep through the night on keto. I always get up at least twice with a very urgent need and it is no wonder it is urgent: My bladder is full. I piss out more than a litre (I weigh myself, often, just to test - science and all) each time. On Keto=Dropping ~4 pounds from an 8 hour sleep cycle. Not on Keto=Dropping less than 2 pounds of fluids from an 8 hour sleep cycle. Most bladders can hold around 16-24oz, which mean I can only get through the night easily when I have a decent intake of carbs.

I’ve had OAB for more then 13 years. And it seems I almost cured it just a month ago. Was trying different doctors. It took multiple years until they set a proper diagnose. I tried electrical stimulation, Mirabegron, Solifenacin. Medication helped a bit, but after I stoped taking it, the symptoms get back to what had. In November here were my complains: * I went to a bathroom about 15 times a day (60ml - 130ml per one time) * 2-3 times during night * During mastrubation I had to make a break to pee * If I wanted to go to a bathroom then I had to do it ASAP. So in November another doctor recommended trying a Bladder training. As a main treatment. I adjusted it it a bit my way and unbelievably I got first results in 2 weeks: first time for maybe last 10 years I didn’t go to a bathroom at night. Then I started to go to a bathroom more rarely. Here is what I got now: * I go to a bathroom 5-7 times a day (200 - 300ml per one time) * Haven’t gone to a bathroom at night last 1 month * I can easily wait if I need So for some reason doctors didn’t recommend trying a bladder training and hence I thought it wouldn’t help, so didn’t bother.
