Honestly deady I can’t thank you enough you’ve inspired me to want to become a HGV & my company who I want for are putting me through it. I have done by medical passed all theory passed CPC & on Monday I have my assessment for class 1. I am going straight to class 1 haven’t got to do class 2 now. Thank you for everything deady
well after 9 months of pondering and watching your videos I started in September booked in my class 1 direct lessons , did my theory passed that and today I passed the class 1 test it's all thanks to you and your videos keep trucking and I would love to buy you a coffee one day keep smiling Gareth
Relationships eh? Well after more than 37 years with my Mrs all I can say is we still Laugh, love and live together. Lots of waiting time I see with this job Deady, that's the sort of day we have most days. When I first went to Ramsbottom I met a woman customer that I was delivering to who would have been the dream woman of many a man, she was an ex tipper driver for Fox's and she was opening her own brewery there. By the way you were wrong when you said that "if you are in a long term relationship you might not agree with me" well I am and I did! All the best and stay happy.

Nodding to some of this and shaking at other bits, and then the punch in the gut at the end when you’ve had the dirty done on you twice, and both times involving kids... it rips my heart when I hear about this kind of thing. Hopefully they will come and find you when they are old enough.

Good video. Good advice, but it shouldn’t be a 100% that. As in physical shouldn’t be the only attraction/bond you have. I think you should always stay in semi decent shape for each other (and yourself) for that physical attraction, but emotion/love has to be the biggest part.
Passed my class 1 on 18th November been working for Hermes since I passed going from Wakefield and Warrington every evening easy job get 8 hours pay for a 5 hour shift too easy i also work through agencies so I’ll be having a change after Christmas try some where else
After many false promises and disappointing experiences with certain companies I’ve decided to take a leaf out of you’re book and go agency so far so good 👍🏻

Your theory about writing things on curtains to stop them being cut doesn't work Deedy. Used to have some coil carriers that had British Steel written on the side, they still got cut, how they thought they could half-inch a 25 tonne coil is beyond me.
so will the 3-4 hours that you was waiting count towards your driving hours/shift so if you have a 10 hour shift will this take up 3-4 hours of that shift or does it not count towards the shift because your not driving as such and do you still get paid for those hours, this might be a stupid question but it is what it is. BTW nice video .
I’ve been a hgv 1 arctic driver down at Heathrow for 20 years permanent nights, done most things: Containers/pallet network/Mostly airfreight/I’m currently doing my ADR Tankers to become a fuel tanker. I’ve found people in general are horrible disgusting haters!!! not only HGV drivers but humans in general are disgusting. I just get on with my job do it go home. I used to work 6 nights I’ve cut that down to 4 nights now. Long hours ‘OK’ pay. As long as I can pay the bills I want a family life Aswel I’m 41 now not getting any younger. Fuck working all hours !!! At the moment I’m dropping and swapping for Amazon, been to most hubs around England. They are EXTREMELY strict there, if you get caught filming your banned from site
