I start my class 1 job in a few weeks time & I don’t think I’d have had the balls to go ahead with it all as my anxiety was through the roof about learning how to drive a C2 then C1 but then I came across your Vlogs and your journey. The best decision I ever made was following you into the industry, yes there are some rubbish days but as you say the job is WHAT YOU make of it no one else. I've got a assessment for a trainee bus driver on Monday. But my anxiety got the better of me and I nearly cancelled my time slot. Luckily I didn't and hopefully I can a pcv licence under my belt and do something with me life.

You’ve taught me a hell of a lot Deady, I passed my class 1 a few weeks ago, awaiting my CPC mod 2 & 4 and thanks to you, Hermes on the agency is my go to go gain experience, It’s a shame you got sacked because you definitely painted the company in a good light and have most likely encouraged many agency drivers to work for them through your influence/channel. My Mom is a truck driver of 20 yrs (Last 10 spent as transport manager) She openly says, its a rare breed of women that for one; Want to drive trucks! Then two; prepared for the lifestyle! Three; then prepared for the shite the job kicks up. My mom drove in france a lot and says they look after their drivers a lot better over there (but I couldnt comment) but even still france has a very low % of female Class 1/2 drivers. Shitting on the lad for making a side earner to his work, for what? jealously

I'm currently laid up at home with a broken collar bone (accident at home) and I'm a class 2 driver looking to get my class 1 next year and further my career within the industry, before this I've been working as a warehouse operative for 17 years with a flatspine (self-inflicted) and was forced to change a career, some of these people really need to go back to school and learn something new if they hate their job..
I’ve been a HGV driver for 20 Years on nights done all soughts of work, I still struggle a lot at reversing at most places. I’ve had a lot of negative things happen to me throughout my career, there is a lot of haters out there!! Just human beings are scum, I keep myself to myself head down, as long as I got my mrs that’s all I want, I’ve put up with ALOT of abuse from other drivers throughout my career. it’s a shit industry no one helps anyone out, when I’m struggling to reverse other more experienced drivers just watch you, no help just judge you. I just got sacked from a job after just 3 months when they tried changing my hours without notice and I explained I can’t start earlier due to mrs got car for her work and can’t start till 1800hrs. my last 2 jobs I was there for 10 years or more, looking to go back to my previous company if they have me back. Yes the 3 month job was better money but they think they could change your shifts and times without notice

Hi Deady. This is really crazy! As a creator myself, I have had my own portion of hate. Whatever you don't need to listen to all this shit. I am going for HGV class 1 driver for a company in Wales. I love being out on the open roads. Seeing all the different views, etc. Its crazy how some people can take the piss off you and get you fired from a job you enjoyed. Its just crazy. I can't wrap my head around this crap. I hope you can stay for a lot longer with your other agencies.

It was your videos that got me into HGV, it’s been your insight to the HGV industry that has kept me in the job. I’m not an HGV driver but ever since I was a kid I was fascinated by trucks and what it would be like to be a truck driver. That’s how I came across your channel. I’ve loved watching the videos and getting know about the industry and the types of jobs you do. My career went down the office route but I sometimes wish that I could retrain as a trucker and give it a go. Think my time has passed what with family and other responsibilities taking precedent but your videos are like my escape from my life behind a desk. It makes me so sad that across all social media platforms there are so many people who feel they have to send spiteful and hateful comments and do things like you talked about in this video. It makes me not want to be on social media platforms but then there are so many benefits of youtube for everyone whether it be entertainment or education and information that I’d be losing out if I turned off because of all the hate. I really enjoy the content and I’m sure you really enjoy making it so keep up the great videos pal. 👍

Alright deady, im a newby to the channel, watched a few vids now for catch-up, ive been a class 1 driver since 98, love the job, its in the fibre. Been full time and agency, gota say, i love agency, pick and choose what you want, far better money, variety. You're ok mate, good vids and entertaining.
