*Works great. We have used it as a grill **MyBest.Kitchen** and a griddle Grease catcher could stand some improvement as some liquid usually gets on the counter top. Grills/griddles are easy to remove and insert.*

Thanks for the video! I’m about to purchase the 17” with the cover. I can’t wait to try it! I’ve always used cast iron skillets and carbon steel cookware so this should be easygoing for me!

just a suggestion get yourself a griddle spatula. You can cut, scrape and move food better. Shot that is most of the fun using a larger spatula. lol

It’s a shame most of these RU-vidrs have to half of their video explaining their actions because of A-Holes and their comments. Great video and you can season your griddle with Valvoline motor oil if you want..

They say grapeseed oil, or flaxseed oil is the best. Never used either one. Main thing is use something with a high smoke point.

Doesn't the griddle itself store upside down?
@HKOutdoors5561

You can store it that way, but I always leave mine upright and just put a cover on it. Thanks for asking.

I dont have a blackstone, I have another brand. I noticed you said it gets hotter in the middle and more to the right. Mine gets real hot in the middle to the right corner. the bottom and left parts of the grill arent near as hot. I wonder if that is just part of design with a lot of the one burner grills. It is not a huge deal, the more I cook on it the more I will learn about the hotter zones. Just wanting to know if that is pretty normal especially with one burner tabletop grills.
@diablogordo
@diablogordo 2 года назад
From my experience that is normal on all flat top grills. We use a 17 inch blue rhino razor 1 flat top grill and the hot zones vary as well middle being the hottest top griddle is the next hottest and the bottom of the griddle is the lowest in temp.

I thinking about this one, or the one with the air fryer.
@steves3760
@steves3760 3 года назад
Just to let you know, the air fryer requires electricity. It doesn't run on propane.

Why can't the grill be hooked up to a 20 lb propane tank? The one pound bottle does last and are getting to expensive to purchase.
@HKOutdoors5561
@HKOutdoors5561 2 года назад
With the right hose it can definitely be hooked up to a 20 lb tank. I actually bought a hose that let me hook it directly to my campers propane system.
@janis3900
@janis3900 2 года назад
Thanks I bought a 17 in grill today and the owner's manual says, only use a 16.04 oz bottle. So will the pressure from the 20 pound tank effect the griddle like damage it or cause other issues?

@HKOutdoors5561 2 года назад

Did you condition it before the first use? Just wondering if that would help with the sticking.
@HKOutdoors5561
@HKOutdoors5561 3 года назад
I did not. I was so exited to use I just started cooking. I would say conditioning it first definitely can't hurt though.

You shouldn't clean it like that. You are removing the season. Treat it just like a cast iron pan. Scrape, wipe, done.
@HKOutdoors5561
@HKOutdoors5561 3 года назад
I don't disagree, but this is the best way I have found to clean it. Treating it just like normal cast iron makes it very hard to clean.
