*Works great. We have used it as a grill **MyBest.Kitchen** and a griddle Grease catcher could stand some improvement as some liquid usually gets on the counter top. Grills/griddles are easy to remove and insert.*
Thanks for the video! I’m about to purchase the 17” with the cover. I can’t wait to try it! I’ve always used cast iron skillets and carbon steel cookware so this should be easygoing for me!
I have a 36inch but found one of these on clearance for $70. Used it to make Philly Cheese Steaks and hamburgers so far and love the portability of it.
It’s a shame most of these RU-vidrs have to half of their video explaining their actions because of A-Holes and their comments. Great video and you can season your griddle with Valvoline motor oil if you want..
I dont have a blackstone, I have another brand. I noticed you said it gets hotter in the middle and more to the right. Mine gets real hot in the middle to the right corner. the bottom and left parts of the grill arent near as hot. I wonder if that is just part of design with a lot of the one burner grills. It is not a huge deal, the more I cook on it the more I will learn about the hotter zones. Just wanting to know if that is pretty normal especially with one burner tabletop grills.
From my experience that is normal on all flat top grills. We use a 17 inch blue rhino razor 1 flat top grill and the hot zones vary as well middle being the hottest top griddle is the next hottest and the bottom of the griddle is the lowest in temp.
With the right hose it can definitely be hooked up to a 20 lb tank. I actually bought a hose that let me hook it directly to my campers propane system.
Thanks I bought a 17 in grill today and the owner's manual says, only use a 16.04 oz bottle. So will the pressure from the 20 pound tank effect the griddle like damage it or cause other issues?
@@janis3900 Here is an adapter that should work fine with the griddle. Blackstone Propane Adapter Hose & Regulator for 20 lb Tank, Gas Grill & Griddle - Weather Resistant & Corrosion Resistant - Extends Up to 3 Feet - 5471 a.co/d/iQOSW9Q
