@Aussie ChundaYes, I'm aware. the fictitious 'conversation' I posted was depicting one that would've been had by someone who had witnessed the vehicle.
I was wondering what kind of car that was? ( Half a Car) 🏎🚘🚤🛥Lol 😂 ya everyone at the bar will just think you're drunk! 🍺🍻🍸🍹🍷🍺🍻 Just like when i saw a UFO🚡in March 2017 USA 🇺🇸 Jets ✈✈✈🛫🛬🛫🛬 were chasing it was moving fast! Metallica with a dome!💽💿📀💿📀💿📀💿📀 in the morning! 🌄🌇🏙 no one believes me! My family just laugh's at me! 😂 but sooner or later people will see them! Thanks. Have a good day! 💒⛪⛪⛪🌈🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾🌾
That is a pretty slick idea, having built custom rods with dad for 12 yrs. I can only imagine the engineering and thought that was put into it. ( R.I.P Dad ..it's been 10 months and it feels like it was yesterday😞)
Your right my freind she was definitely the coolest girl at the ramp she was also the fastest chick at the dock as well! Lol. That was a great run the boat did, man that thing is stupid fast ain't it. The car boat hauler was just pure classy genius. That thing is awesome and I'm an old retired auto and truck restoration and designer man and I'm telling ya something, that is not an easy thing to build much less design it. Wow lots of hours I'll bet but man the combination of the boat and hauler is just off the charts. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks a ton for sharing with us daydreams lol. Nice work y'all
so, as I peruse these comments, I realize that most people are judgemental and not particularly bright...the car/trailer is very cool...I really don't see the point of leaving a negative comment...I'd just like to tell the owner/builder, nice job...
The incredible irony... Maybe the comments have changed in the past few years, but here in 2023, it's quite difficult to find negative comments on this video. That's ironic that you were so judgemental, and therefore the tiny minority of negative comments were interpreted as a "majority" by you in a very judgemental way.
Michael Edwards People get in the water to help guide most all of the race boats and custom painted boats. They want no scratches in the gel coat or Imron paint. They want them to be as slick as possible and also protect the fiberglass from absorbing water. I'm with you that I don't want to have to guide my boat in while standing in the water. But if I was running a v-drive like one of those I would.
In the trucker world, that would be known as a "Bulkhead". And, yeah. it could use one. But, I don't think that the car sees road use. That whole rig gets trailered to events.
in alaska we use half trucks to launch float planes. first one i ever saw was a chopped late 60's cadillac. was a front wheel drive car. saw it back in the late 70s. pretty cool idea. only difference was the car was mounted the opposite direction because it didn't have to drive on the street.
nice video coverage, appreciate the sensible recording, the camera man pretty much answered all questions that would be asked, it felt like I was right there. cool car and boat
Holds up entire boat ramp to do basic inspections and tie down. These people piss me off. Get your shit out of the water and pull up far enough that others can use the ramp. Then do your tie down and inspections and frickin press conference elsewhere. Bad ass boat though.
Totally going to copy your idea ! Have a Mercury Sable with an appointment with my Sawz-All ! been wondering what I was going to do with that car ! Ohhhh ya, Gorgeous boat by the way !
I got dizzy watching this...someone needs to learn how to use a camera. Anyone notice that the title is "Coolest girl" and the girl is the only thing he didn't focus on?
@@bobbytaylor5289 You're right that I did not get the point, and yes, the rig is super cool. That said, since they didn't talk to the girl, I have no idea if she deserves any credit for the rig. There's nothing in the video to make me believe she's cooler than anyone else who can step on a gas pedal and steer straight.
TheVintagetamiya I agree man. I've topped out my mildly built ZX14 plenty of times but I start getting anxious when small boats get past 75-80mph. It's different on the water isn't it?
The driver is a boat fan. The "girl" is the boat, because all boats are female. That's why he kept filmed the boat and asked those questions at the end about it's performance.
Not to mention the first pothole that boat trailer/car thing goes over, it's going to bend up into a taco, but yeah you're right, you look cool at the boat ramp!
And did you notice her little message on the back of her boat? "If you can read this you just got beat by a chick". Its sad when women feel the need to put down other competitors using gender-based shaming. If the genders were reveresed here and a MAN said this in an all-female event they wouldn't stand for it and all hell would break loose. Oh but its all well and fine when a woman does it. So much for equality. Seems it's fine for women to openly shame men. Just don't any of the guys do it because suddenly it would be considered wrong. There is so much disparity when it comes to this subject alone.
WelshWidgetMan2O1O Absolutely. I fully believe in gender equality, and support fights against real sexism and gender issues... but fuck dude theres so much shit like this going on. Also, please note that the people doing all her dirty work are dudes? so much for girl power.
Jenny Wakeman No youre right, on no culture has pink/purple ever held and gender specific significance, ever. Totally irrelevant to her gender, i bet she chose that colour based on random luck.
DascCrescent So just because you, and some other people decided that purple is for girls only, it must be absolutely for girls only, and under no circumstance is a boy allowed to like it. Because if a boy liked purple, or heaven forbid, a girl dislike purple, it would contradict your beliefs, we can't have that now can we? The colour of a persons vehicle, dwelling, accessories, furnishings, etc, is 100% irrelevant to their sex, height, weight, or whatever other nonsense you believe.
The boat was kinda neat but I expected the video to actually be about the girl, not the shiny object she owned. And I am tired of seeing women say ''ha, you just got beat by a chick!'' Completely unaware that they are implying their own gender is somehow inferior, and reinforcing the idea that sports/competition is primarily for men..
+anonymousphox, ..I'ld reckon that's probably a safe bet ;) That Lumina looks very much like our Aussie "VP model Holden Commodore", but ours were rear wheel drive only. check them here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Commodore_(VP) From about 97 or 98 on you would have been getting our Holden Commodores there probably badged as Chevy's, Pontiac's and Buicks, but come next year, there won't be any more built in Aussie.. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Commodore#Australian_export_models Cheers
@@thorndave That's the Hydraulic Actuator that pulls the boat in. The Car, is a front-wheel drive Cadillac. I Know, because I Own One. Another use is for Float Aircraft. We have one at Boeing field in Renton for use on Lake Washington. Pretty 😎
@@thorndave ABOUT TIME 😂 I'm kidding dude. I did think of another Good use for Front-wheel drive cars like Caddies. GETAWAY CARS. My recommendations had some car chases with "Pit Maneuvers". And a front wheel drive is Prefect in those situations. If one can drive that is. NO, NOT A CRIMINAL. Just a Physics Dude 😂 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥂
"Coolest Girl Ever" but not once did he ever aim the camera at girl, or talk to the girl, or really anything about the girl. So at this point it doesn't matter if it's a girl or not. It's all about the boat. (Homer says "Doh!") So instead of being a sexist creep just to attract viewers, try titling the video "Coolest Boat Ever at the Boat Ramp". You'll get more respect.
@Buddha Bell Still not cool enough to show her face...? The boat says, "If you can read this, you just got beat by a chick..." I only blame the camera man.
Time to look up the word "sexism" and do some self reflection. You're literally objectifying the owner since the video is clearly about a boat. She's the coolest girl on dock because of the boat she is driving. If I took you seriously, it would mean that I agreed with the idea that it's more important to focus on the woman's looks instead of what they do or own (I don't agree). I can't take you seriously, because it's just too sexist to complain about the things you've complained about. If the video was focused on her and not the boat, you'd probably be claiming that THAT is sexist, because why are we claiming that she's cool he cause she's a woman and not because of her boat and driving skills? I don't know if you were intentionally or accidentally sexist, but claiming that it takes a "sexist creep" to write a title that is obviously not sexist (unless of course, you think that gender roles are important, and that the term "coolest girl" is NOT the same as "coolest guy") makes it very hard to maintain respect for you. You seem like one of those people who uses a relatively extreme brand of feminism to hide your own sexist worldviews, but I hope I'm wrong about that.
Martin West Open your eyes my friend, "Coolest Girl Ever at the Boat Ramp" is driving the Hydroplane being loaded onto the interesting half-car-half-boat-trailer. Granted, a tiny nothing bikini would look so much better, but, oh the hard water marks if she flips the hydroplane at speed.
nitroman365 that's not an impressive compression ratio anymore. With modern technology, passenger cars can run that on regular gas. But that boat is awesome and probably scary fast.
Ethanol and methanol engine's CR are 14:5 to 16:1. Diesel engine's CR are between 18:1 and 23:1... Your mother of god's not at the top. Hell a F1 is 17:1, hitting 18,000 RPM's.
to everyone: you dont know what you are talking about.... average compression ratios of new cars is closer to 8:1 due to the formation of oxides of nitrogen, also why cars sold in america cant break out of the 20mpg range( yeah yeah, they do a little better than that)... but more even than that is the whole physics thing. 14:1 is about the minimum ratio a diesel can run also, with or without sequetial multiport injection you would have to use a minimum of 100 octane because anything lower would burn too fast and cause detonation even with computer controlled timing..... my biggest question, as a car guy and a performance tuner is this: where do you get these wild ideas??? 14:1??? on straight ethenol, maybe. but on82 octane pump gas?? wouldnt last 60k miles. now over in european countries where they can get 110 octane at the pumps you could be right, but here in america these cars do not exist.
17:1 would pre ignite. old austin healy's had 14:1, you could run a diesel blend and it would run once started with the key off(no spark) I think the physical effect you are talking about is the amount of fuel air mix being put into the cylinder at high rpm similar to water hammering, it is a physical affect in nat asperated and forced induction ... not the same. compression is calculated by the cylinders volume at tdc versus the volume at bdc, nothing more, boost isnt part of that.. you may be using that for your numbers if you want to do the math based on what is being forced into the cylinder, that is differant and does not have that much to do with the comp ratio number as used by the tuner. also I have to point out that cars in europe are differant, they run much higher comp ratio's than we can because they can get either straight ethanol or high octane fuel.(100 octane and above) that burns slow enough to support such high ratio's. we here in the ol' us of a dont have that option, we have low octane shit that wouldnnt work in a car with more than 10:1 the thing I may have missed is what he was feeding the boat motor, I'd bet he was running av gas (114 octane) otherwise all you'd hear is that thing detonating under load.
I've been a lot of places and I've seen a lot of things ,but I have never seen nothing like this. The wild thing about it is quick as you get past the shock immediately switch to that's the coolest thing .
+Mike Yup ... watched the whole thing. The video title is about a cool girl. She barely makes an appearance 'cause the dude films everything/everyone but her.
