maybe, this engine has rev limit on 8250 and was raced almost 100 hours with oem oil pump gear without failure

I just rebuilt a 2ZZGE for a friend with a looong list of goodies! Monkeywrenchracing parts: Knife-edged & Lightened Crank, Crower Rods, Mahle Pistons(12.5:1cr), modified head with flat faced valves, upgraded springs and retainers, Piper stage 2 Cams, etc.

works great with the kaaz lsd we use, you get a lot of power down even when turning.

yes it is preferred to change the oil pump gear to some aftermarket, since the oem is prone to fail.. running the toda racing gear which works fine

gear ratios sound different to first vid I watched of the shake down run at the airfield? Thanks for the shots in this vid of the suspension etc,nice build. how do you find it on turn in and getting the power down early? Are you running brake bias adjust? it seemed fairly balanced but with some snatch oversteer to understeer= busy driver :-D

well, gear ratio is same in this vid as on the air firld vid but here we run a kaaz lsd which works great on track and let us get on the power earlier through turns which made all the difference! we use brake bias here as well and better brakes, and some new geometry to the chassie which made the balance much better.

Hey man sweet ae, I'm thinking of putting a zz on my 93 e100 how much is your car putting down and what diff are you using if you are using one I know the car has power I just don't want to make the mistake of putting in power and only spinning one tire lol :D

Hi, we run alcon 4-pot calipers with 295x28 alcon discs in front and wilwood 4-pot calipers with OEM yaris(06-11) rear discs and motul rbf600 brake fluid

add some ITB's :D

If I am not mistaking the OEM oil pump falls apart after reving the engine after 8500 rpm.
