Terima kasih Tuan atas penjelasan yang berhikmah, terperinci, matang, dan mudah. Rakyat Malaysia memerlukan tokoh seperti Tuan untuk terus bersuara menyedarkan masyarakat yang 'tidur' tanpa sedar. Ini masanya untuk Malaysia mengambil dan meletakkan orang yang tahu dalam menjalankan tanggungjawab.

Thank you, Sir. I wish other Malaysian academicians can be similarly principled and voice what is right and what is wrong.

Politics is downstream from culture. The type of political leaders that we have is a direct reflection of the type of people we have among the population. Thus is not so simple as to remove one corrupt politician and replace it with another. What is needed is a change in culture among the Rakyat. From the culture where the government is deemed to be the problem solver to the culture where the only person who can solve our own problem is ourselves and the government is a mere umpire in making sure everyone plays by the rules.

Assalammualaikum dato syed, saya amat suka dengan penyampaian dato, your charisma and presentation shows that you u have leadership values, malaysia needs people like you but please dont be a politician, its a rabbit hole that corrupted people with money and power.

Thank you Sir for speaking up for the injustice and corruption of knowledge that is going on in this nation. Where there are injustice and lack of wisdom (ignorant bigots), it is due to lack of the fear of God. They forget that God sees and God is Just. God will reward according to the deeds done on earth, be it good or bad. We will reap what we sow. Tanam jagung tak kan dapat durian. This is nature's law.

As a citizen from a neighbouring country, I can only feel sorry....not to rub salt into your wounds...some of my son's top teachers in his school who have nurtured eventual scholars to Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, MIT Caltech, Wharton, Princeton, Yale actually hail from Malaysia but thanx be to the Bumi system we have been the chief beneficiary of their talent. I spoke to one who have nurtured several top ministers of my country and she said if she had stayed she would not have been accorded the opportunity.

If for te pass 50 yrs with all the money flowing to te bumi n still tey hve not reached te target...as u say..te mistake is not wit te bumi but With those who plan n carry out te projects to improve their life. With 97% budget...not sure how much will go to te poor bumis. Wat I c is te gov hve given a lift for bumis to go up fast but it's already broken dwn many many yrs ago but those who r using te stairs..r going up faster.

Totally agree, I think most of our scholars and young generations would understand the context well, Dr Syed has made it rather concise for ease of understanding. Some obstinate ministers that chose to be ignorant are the ones that throws Malaysia’s politics in tilt, there is a serious lack of sincerity to do their job as Rakyats’ representative. This is a fundamental issue that eagerly require improvement.

This is my point of view, the entirety system here has impacted the religion and our Prophet very much. I have lots of frenz who are reverts and they from different races. And The only question that arises, if this is the way of Islam here in Malayasia, how to elaborate (or Dakwah) the actual beauty of Islam to others? Injustice to others or any human beings is a BIG sin...and no one bothers abt it at all. When will be the truth and justice will prevail? We always say that Islam is a beautiful and a simple religion but if the people don't bring out the beauty of Islam, that's the most saddest moment.

One very important point you must realise is that you have not delivered these very crucial information to the very core masses who been afflicted by their own endeavors and strong support for the ruling parties which administer the "under represented by performance" government of the day for the rakyat. My religion always emphasises that whoever steals, cheats, accepts corruptions, kills someone or takes own life will end up in hell for eon years. So never take such matters lightly.

If possible , pls explain In Bahasa Malaysia. Many Scholar & ministers in charge cannot understand English.

Pada hakikatnya, apa yang aku lihat banyak kerosakan yang telah berlaku pada sistem pemerintahan di Malaysia, bukanlah dari rakyat tetapi dari mereka yang duduk di parlimen, tidak kira sama ada pembangkang atau penguasa. Kebanyakannya waktu di habiskan dengan soal peribadi atau parti. Soal mencari solusi untuk memperbaiki masalah negara sangat sangat berkurang. Terdapat juga ahli parlimen yang mungkin tidak menyedari bahawa mereka punya masaalah mental yang kronik, sebagai contoh, semasa PH berkuasa, ada sorang AP yang mengesyorkan agar penanaman kelapa sawit di tukar kepada tanam buluh dan di suruh rakyat minum sesudu minyak sawit sehari. Sekarang pula, keluar isu sekiranya minum air arak Timah sama seperti minum wanita Melayu, ini baru dua contoh, ada banyak lagi. Tidak kurang pula, perangai ahli parlimen yang tidak berakhlak yang suka menjerit jerit seperti histeria. Yang lebih parah lagi, umno apabila ketandusan akal untuk mendapatkan sokongan ...mereka akan guna isu agama dan bangsa. Aku berpendapat tidak kira siapa mereka ini, hatta pembangkang atau pemerintah aku kira waktu mereka sudah usang dan perlu diganti dengan mereka yang punya kesegaran mental untuk membangun negara ini. Selagi apa yang ada sekarang dengan mentaliti yang rakus kuasa maka tunggu lah akan kehancuran nya.

But, (1) I would like to know your take on the justice for one of underrepresented groups, expressly the “illegitimate children” who are born and raised stateless. (2) What would you say about this matter through the lens of Islam? I confess that I’m one of them. (3) Is it fair to say that this issue ( legitimacy of a child) becomes the one of (if not the main) the reasons why God makes stoning and lashes compulsory through Hudud (The Islamic Penal Code)? Dato Dr Syed...you should enter politics to make things right.Only politicians who are elected can effect changes because they have such powers. You may have wonderful ideas for the nation but you are not heard. So you should go into politics and win the election to be the goverment. You must be part of the decision makers.It's of little use if you win the election but being in the opposition block.Look at Anwar Ibrahim...he seems to be the only politician in this country who always talk about justice for the rakyat...care for the poor...fight against corruption, integrity and equality of opportunities to all. But he is not in the government...he cant implement all his noble ideas. So I suggest you join PKR as right now Anwar is all alone in his battle to fix the malaise that we are all in right now. You join PKR and contest in the 15th Gen Election.

And now we have a chairman of PR1MA who is not an expert in managing an organization but still being appointed for the post…..

so here's an example case of bribery. there's a piece of land in a residential area. the people living there would propose to the gov to build a taman permainan there. but then came along a businessman who wanted to build a factory there. in doin so, it would bring pollution and congestions and cause much inconvenient to the people who lived there. but the businessman bribed the officer and the matter was approved. a case of voluntary giver and taker which benefited both parties but resulted in victimization of a third party. the victims were of cause the people in that residential area. That's why bribery is always wrong.

I am not surprised at the level of corruption in Malaysia. One administration Mgr of a company told me 35 yrs ago it is okay for a 10% bride. I was disgusted. My friend from Shell told me 20 years ago, Malaysia needs a revolution to change. My conclusion is we are going downhill on a slippery slope without knowing it. Undi lah BN.

In your example of the developer, the politician and the government, you should have made it very clear that the "government" here really means the ordinary people. It is the ordinary people who have to pay for everything. They are the real victims but they do not now this because this is hidden from them.

There will be a time, when those ministers who are saying bribery is not a sin. they'll vomit blood from their stomach....

Not in hudud does not mean it legal for rasuah.. From my understanding hudud is kesalahan yg spesifik yg disertakan dengan hukuman yg spesifik seprti dinyatakan dlm quran.. Sbb tu rasuah xda dlm hukuman hudud.. Tpi ada dlm hukum takzir.. Ape2 untuk confirmation better check dgn ahlinya.. Just becoz it not in hudud.. What I sense is Dato.Syed Islam has failed Muslims in Malaysia, as the Quran can be interpreted in many ways to suite a or an individual's. Dear Sir, please enter politics. Form a new party. There aren't many choices in Malaysian political arena. Same dead wood, frogs and katak di bawah tempurung in a corrupted swamp. Last GE I had to chose between the devil and the deep blue sea.

I have a problem with this learned man. A BIG problem. He professes in English in almost all of his videos. Nothing wrong with this of course. But the subject topic of his, not just in this particular video, is more suited to the eyes and ears of Malaysians who, sadly, do not comprehend the level of English that he is speaking in. I would go as far as saying English is a major turn-off for most Malays. And his target audience is mainly, I would say, the people in kampungs who 1) don’t understand English and 2) are corrupted in knowledge as espoused in this particular video. These people make up a large percentage of the Malaysian population, and so, what chance is there for a change in Malaysia ?
