That would mean that for me, the size of the wings in the video would be accurate then. *EDIT:* I changed inches in “10 inches basically” to feet. Because of the edit on the OP’s comment, my wings would also have to actually be 20 feet.

@@god_2.0_the_better_version you are right with the hollow bones and air sac crap we would need, we would also need to change our whole skeleton, our flimsy backs are not strong enough to be albe to lift them up in flight, we would need to fuse the back bones like birds did and many many other things. Can you imagine needing to keep your arms up like a bird does, it like how other theropod dinosaurs did, looks uncomfortable aha

We also have nothing on our legs that could function as flapping to help us stay up. There are a lot of problems with trying to get a human to fly, so we may as well just become birds at that point.

I wish they actually hired people like to do this kind of props, this, just with a bit of edit, would look more realistic than 100%cgi done wings.

@@nessyness5447 They actually do use real prop wings for scenes where it isn't moving or just need some simple movements. She even said that she sometimes make wings for "play productions and films". But as you see in the video, while the wings movements are very mechanically impressive, when the wings need to move, it is a far cry from how actual bird wings behave. Birds can move and flap their wings much faster than can be practically achieved mechanically with a bunch of motors, so there's that limitations. And even when the character is just walking around a scene, you likely will still need CGI to add the subtle bits of movements that makes the wings looks like a natural part of the character's body rather than a mechanical attachment. Also, if a characters have wings, they are almost contractually obligated to have that character fly at some point. There's no way you can film a believable depiction of flying with just mechanical wings, so CGI are going to be required anyway for those scenes.

Ash Therry honestly, if this was a few years back, i would have the time. As of today i have to set up a new 20 gallon aquarium for my current Gold Dust Molly and set up my spare 5.5 gallon as a quarantine for the new gold dust mollies im getting since the rest of the school was killed off by my betta. I didn't expect the Molly (Star) to grow at the rate she has been, and she is now a lot bigger. On top of this I need to care for the betta (Orion) since he's been displaying signs of boredom (my mom calls it "fish deprish") and the setup is more for the benifit of the Molly, so I'll need to completely change his setup. On top of this I'll need to move him to my side of the room in sharing with my sister since the 20 gallon is going where the 10 gallon currently is. I also need to get Orion the correct food, since my parents only bought flake food for the mollies. Basically I need to spoil my pets even further, which they kinda deserve it, and as a freshman i have about 60 different assignments I need to make up since I was out for 2 weeks because i got surgery. The joys of being 14 :D Just kidding. Though I do need to do all of the above, it'll probably take around 3-4 hours. If I don't get around to Orion's tank today then I can always do it tomorrow. After all it was cleaned out entirely yesterday. My main focus is getting the Molly out of the 10 gallon. Orion isn't exactly "Community Quality" Plus the living room is really loud. Loud noises freak him out. And I wont have to deal with my brother and sister sitting in front of the tank all the time. I'll definitely have time this weekend though. If not I shall make it so that I have time :< -sorry I'm weird-

"creativity" is not something you can't teach someone. It's something you are supposed to cultivate on your own. All a class can teach you is how to use tools and... you know... "programming lego robots to spin". What you are going to spin is up to you.
