Who ARE you?!!! Seriously! I've never come across such a magical being! Your energy knows no bounds! Your cottage is enchanting and it always looks like you're accomplishing so much! You're tidying up. Redecorating projects are always afoot. You're writing books left and right. You keep on top of the amount of physical work required in your garden! (Which is a LOT!) You shoot and post videos almost daily. I'm exhausted just thinking of ALL you are doing!! Dang! Brava! Great job! You are the perfect YOU! The Magical Lady at Bealtaine Cottage. I❤U Oh yea....AND you are knitting a jumper! WHAT?!! Guess I better start juicing!

I stumbled upon your vlogs one wet and miserable day here in the UK and they brought warmth to my world. I am a very solitary person and always have been, I guess it comes from being an only child and also many many bad experiences with those which walk on two legs ☺ so much so I have a very small circle of two legged souls in my world (my beautiful family) and much prefer to spend my days with loyal fury companions ❤. I have fallen in love with your home and the peace and tranquility of your world. Your vlogs are my little piece of heaven, thankyou for inviting us to share it with you........blessed be.

Fingers crossed the cats turn up Colette. One of mine scared the beejeezus out of me yesterday by lying on the gravel road near my cottage. For one dreadful moment I thought he had been hit by a car, only to see him twist and turn, loving a roll in the gravel. We take these fur children in, open our hearts to them and worry about them just as much as we do about our human children. And our lives are so enriched by them. I will hold you and the cats in my thoughts. Please let us know how you all are soon. I know Jack is a happy camper, he has his cream biscuits! Oh, and I loved Wolf Hall and Bring up the bodies too. Wonderful books, thanks for the heads up that the Audio books are on RU-vid. There are so many treasure on RU-vid...not least your thoughtful videos. Thanks again. Blessings too.

Jack is a hoot! So nice that your brother popped in for a visit, and what a lovely bed cover. Hibernating is a grand idea for the cold, and I agree about the early to bed in winter. I think all the overexertion people do this time of year sets them up for long term exhaustion over the months. In cold climes you had your work to do, but it was early to settle in before the days of central heat, and people had a chance to rest, just as people has siestas in hot climates.

I love your little cottage, it’s so warm and inviting, and Jack, well he really makes your house a home. I just bought a little house that was built in 1930. I would love to fill it with all kinds of bits and bobs that belonged to my mother and grandmother to give it warmth and add a personal touch just the way you have have done. Do you have any tips on keeping it neat and tidy, and stay ahead of all the dusting? Thank you for your videos, I so enjoy them... Especially Jack! 🌸

My eyes are drawn to that marvelous wood framed mirror. The very first thing I ever sewed, was a skirt. We had a very exacting Home Economics teacher, who made us rip out stitches if everything wasn't perfect. I had to do so much ripping out, that my poor wee skirt was worn out before I got to wear it.

What a beautiful cottage and what a wonderful atmosphere it has. I feel like I have been there with you and Jack. Listening to you has been such a help to me in how I look at life and how I spend my time. I am very thankful to you for that. I feel so calm and centered after spending time with you and Jack. I so agree about gelling with the seasons. They tell you what you should be doing. When it’s hot go slow. Look around carefully. Things are growing. The different clothes that suit each season are fun. I have a long hot summer. Very humid. A parasol is superb shade. No one uses them now except in Japan. Each season works on our senses in a different way. In some we stay in more. During endless rain. Read more. Do crafting. I’m off for my long walk in the hot sun in the shade, covered skin and enjoy the sensuous feel of the heat.

I love your cottage. I have an idea to uncover the little bedroom window and on the other side of it, put a picture of beautiful fields. Then just move the bookcase back on that side of the window. Then install cute curtains and it will make the room seem bigger. I love that red mirror too.

Some of the dvd doors have a small hole that you can poke a paperclip into and that will open it. Love the bedroom. Beautiful spread.

Sometimes theres a small hole on the dvd drive that you can use to manually force open the drive with something thin like a paperclip.

If that were my bedroom I would paint the upper part of it the same color as the darker color in the bedspread. But if it is black I that might be a bit too dark. The room is coming together beautifully.

Cead mile Failte!! I sooo enjoyed this video..I LOVE all things Celtic. symbols all over in my home..Bridget's cross over the door..40 yrs ago when I heard the bagpipes at a Celtic festival, it brought my heart back to my ancestors..We are so alike..I too enjoy hibernation, reading, knitting (My 7yr. old grandson asked me to knit him a red sweater, so I am now)Have 2 kitties, follow the seasons & goddess, garden, AND we were both born in Oct. lol however you get to live in Ireland, yay!! lol..Blessings P.S. Also , I am intriged by another strong Irish woman in history, Grace O'Malley, The Pirate Queen..

Just out of curiosity, what do you do with the home made wine you make? Those would make awesome holiday gifts for any friends/family that enjoy wine with good company. That blanket is a gorgeous addition to the bedroom which has turned out quite lovely. Well, I hope the cats are ok and come home soon, and you get good rest and stay warm :)

Aw, your cottage is so cozy...that's what I strive for in my home too :) You might be able to get a remote disc drive that you can connect to your laptop via usb. I had to get one for my desktop since the new iMacs don't have a place to put a disc in. This video is available in its entirety for free until the Nov. 25th (at least in the U.S...don't know if there are restrictions anywhere)...I haven't watched it yet but I will perhaps tonight: www.lpb.org/index.php/site/programs/deeply_rooted
