Couple Small Channel Changes 

Yes... I just miss how I use to read before doing this hobby. Silly that I'm letting it get in the way of my overall enjoyment of the next read. As far as the rating goes I just feel I have a flawed system and just want to simplify it. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. I saw someone recommend your channel the other day... Yes, that was a thought I had, dogs > cats! I don't review books very often but I think a good review makes the rating system sort of unnecessary. With Amazon it makes sense because there are so many reviews.

Yeah I agree with you. We can always tell where someone is leaning on a book so I'm just going to recommend a book or not recommend it from now on. I just realize my own rating system is flawed and I'm trying to be as honest as I can for my own sake and I still think it's wrong. LOL Time to change. :) Oh so your a dog person then... so am I but Finn likes to force his will on me and he is a good cat so I let it slide. :)

Exactly... What I've been doing lately is when I see a book from someone's channel that sounds like something I would like to read I just grab it and start reading it. I'm almost done with FOE which was a recommendation on a channel and I put a request in for Musashi at my local library so will give that a try once it comes in. How refreshing is that idea of reading whatever you feel like next and not what you said you would read... Oh wait... we are supposed to be adults around here? :)

Oh... don't get me wrong I have a TBR list which is always getting bigger but I'm just not doing a strick monthly one. Your way is a good way to read plenty of mood reads for sure. Again I hope we can still be friends. Been a rocky month for us. 😂😂😂

Hey what you didn't see off camera was that Finn was trying to plan evidence on my person. He is all about just busting people whether it's ethical or not. Let's be honest he's a cat and you can't trust them... Dogs would never do this... except for maybe a treat... Yes to mood reads!!! Don't get me wrong I have a huge list of books I want to read but I'll just get to them when I feel like it... not because I decided this might be what I wanna read sometime this month... can't wait...well actually I've already started because I finished all of my Aug TBR... woot! Well still have to finish the buddy read with Grozz but we read the last 4 chapters today.

Oh come on... please don't say that... my wife stokes his ego enough... it's why he acts the way he does... he believe what you all tell him... :) Finn says, "Thanks but I know that" ...see I told you he is so full of himself.

I hope you are able to get to those books so we can hear about them. I enjoyed one of your more recent videos where you did a review on that depressing book where the guy starved... ugh...

Yes... paying for security with fish is a cheep way to afford security. LOL My problem with the TBR was that I pressured myself to finish it each month. I'll be glad to be done with them... I do think the wrap up video will be more important now as it will give a good all the books I ended up reading for the month. I thought I was subscribed to your channel already but it appears not so I just did it "again" LOL Let's hope it takes this time.

Not going to lie... it's so refreshing just picking up a book at random now. :) Yes Finn is the man! He has my back even if he is frisking me on camera... he gets a bit of a power trip sometimes. LOL

Yeah I'm with you... I just wanna read what I feel like reading next. I don't want to stick to these lists anymore. There must have been a glitch with Bella... no way she let someone sneak up on you. I'm wondering if there was a money back guarantee with this Bella School. I'll have to keep an eye out when Finn has my back now... ugh

Not going to lie... just the thought of not making a tbr and trying to stick to it is refreshing. Yeah Finn likes to think he owns me and I have to constantly remind him that isn't the case. I actually took him out on the paddle boat yesterday and we went fishing for a bit. He really is a pretty cool cat. Just pushy. LOL I'm looking forward to the no rating thing... Like you there are plenty of people who don't rate books so it isn't ground breaking. I just don't want to do numbers anymore if I can't make it clear in my head how some are higher than others but I put them lower on my overall... just doesn't make sense. Oh and don't worry... I don't have an original idea in my head... everything I do is stolen. LOL

No problem... I hope it didn't come across badly... I clearly was struggling trying to explain myself. LOL We have 2 mini donkeys, 1 other cat and 1 dog. OH and a bird that has been living way past his expiration date.

Yeah I think it shows where I'm at with this whole thing that I'm giving up something that does rather well in views so I can enjoy reading and recording more... No more false dreams of blowing up and getting a show on late night tv.

Haven't had an issue lately but I do have an Uncle who is visiting next week. He's a bit down and out so we want to help him. BTW That stupid Thor video is still getting views... I love it... as it's such an obscure book and not something that was just released... pretty cool. You got any other good recommendations? I don't have a TBR anymore so I can just read stuff now. :)

@FacelessBookReviews I bet it's Uncle Red. He was here last week, but his drinking was too out of control. He took my lawnmower and turned it into a go-cart for the neighborhood kids. You'd be surprised by how fast a Briggs & Stratton 6.5 hp engine can go. No new recommendations off the top of my head other than Caulmet K, which should be in the mail next month as soon as I finish my current read.

@@someothercharacter ohhh good ole Uncle Red...he was always good with small engine mechanics... Why we should still have shop classes in high school. Oh yes... I forgot about that...
