ECC has produced more NFL athletes than any other JC in the nation since 1947 - almost 60 at the time of this film. Head coach John Featherstone, a 2 time national coach of the year, has also helped to produce NCAA and NFL coaches Steve Sakisian and Dave Canales. This is a raw and in-depth view into the experiences of a Junior College football team as it's players try to make it to the next level and, hopefully, the NFL.
Note: Several people in this film have made it to the NFL since it was filmed in 2012-13, including Ivan Mclennan, who went on to the Washington St Cougars and now the Atlanta Falcons. It also contains clips of Cameron Artis-Payne who was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in 2015 and Kaelin Clay from Mt SAC who went to Utah and now the Baltimore Ravens, among others!!
