She definitely said "heal" She has, not one, but two lyric videos for the song, one that came out before the official video, and a Karaoke version without her voice. It's great that you came right back with this one after That Girl Don't Live Here and appreciate her so much. For almost five years now I just can't get enough of Courtney. This is an exciting time for her and us fans.
Hi John. Really good, insightful reaction. I think you described it perfectly when you said Courtney's voice was 'magical'. It truly is. As you hear more of her, you'll see why so many of us see her as a true generational talent and even the voice of a lifetime. Just look at the different styles of her first two releases. A beautiful ballad (Breakable) followed by an uptempo song that almost has the vibe of 1940's swing. Courtney really can sing anything, from R&B to Funk, Soul, Ballads and Rock. She even had an opera clip go viral. The best thing is, no matter the genre, there never is a drop off in the incredible quality of her music. All artists have their comfort zone, but we haven't found the limits to Courtney's comfort zone as of yet. It may be infinite. 'Breakable' was an amazing debut original single by Courtney. This is both her first original released as well as her first release as an independent artist and she just hit a home run. Her vocals just soar in this incredible song, the lyrics are an emotional gut punch and the fabulous video just reinforces all of the emotion contained in this song visually. After years of fighting to release the music that she loved and having labels try and twist her into something she didn't want to be, Courtney finally decided to go it on her own. In a true testament to her, she achieved in two months, what the labels couldn't do in years. Everybody needs to get out and stream/watch this fabulous song. It is a masterpiece. Everyone has been burnt by someone or something in their lifetime, so this song will be relatable to so many people on a personal level. No one can touch your soul when she sings like Courtney and it feels like she is having a one on one conversation with your heart in this song. You haven't reacted to Courtney for a while, but buckle your seat belt. Now that she's in control of her own music, it was said to expect a release approximately every month. So I expect you'll be doing a good number of Courtney reactions going forward. It will likely be a month or so until Courtney releases her next original. In the meantime, in your reaction to Courtney's 'That Girl Don't Live Here', I described some of Courtney's history. One of the thing I mentioned was that she rose to worldwide fame on the 2018 season of AGT. Her audition went viral and now has more than 500M views. If you're going to react to anything in Courtney's earlier songs, which are sensational, you need to start at the beginning with the performance that shook the world. I have a theory the album comes out in May before any more singles or videos, and that would mean tour dates and maybe merch sooner than we might be expecting. Just a theory though.
@@edwarddevogelear4432 I know, it's kinda thin. It's based on how long the "teaser" period was before Breakable and teasing for "That Girl Don't Live Here Anymore" began literally the minute the Breakable video came out (Yes you can go back to the video and posts and find her saying it even before she settled on the final title). But I still see nothing naming the next one, leading me to believe the next new release is not a single.🤔
Great Reaction again! Keep checking her stuff out! I’ve been hooked since seeing her on AGT when she was 13! Her voice and creativity is beyond her years!
Another fine reaction. Courtney has my vote on all she has released.she is telling a story of her journey in recording her music her way. beautifully done.🎉
Courtney's voice is unique, instantly recognizable more than most, and she can explode every genre with it. You caught the part where she had to sit in the back of the truck. One interpretation of that is representing how she has been underappreciated and not well supported by others, which could refer to past managers and record labels. While waiting for new original release, I hope you will react to some of the other commenters' suggestions to appreciate Courtney's versatility and creativity.
Now that you've seen what Couttney can do with her own music, I want to coax you into seeing what she does to other's music, especially how she takes the longest #1 hit song on Billboards ever and makes it much much better. You really don't want to miss this cover Courtney does to "Old Town Road" by Little Nas X. I'm mean she completely changes the song into another genre and everyone says it's way better. Please react to this one. I'd love to see your take on it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-anwtg4C0PTc.html
Hey!! It's a reaction channel and there talk about the song during the song. You talk about what you think. Possibly asking questions to viewers what they think about it. If you want to see the song without stop go to the original video.
