After the first 2 like ok playoff gitters. But the 3rd and 4th like get this clown outta here if you can't do the one job your paid to do time to go specially when it's been 30 years since this team has been this close to a super bowl.
Literally one of the best kickers in the league. Has one bad night and everyone hates him. Those people are also the same people that were screaming “BRETT IS AMAZING” when he made two 60 yard field goals in a row
@@elchucofried5683 I’m not about to argue with someone who can’t comprehend the difference between the words consistent and importance. The franchise tag for those 3 players explains it and my statement is still true. He’s been the most consistent out of all of them this season.
@@pat_n_black7563 dude you're comparing a kicker to the corner stones of the franchise foh 🤡 all he does is kick the ball of course he's "consistent" are you really that ignorant?? This whole conversation is useless im talking to a special teams fan boy.
Out of 57 kicks this year he missed 6 I felt bad for him lastnight but everybody has a off night some games he carried us with his points this year so he’ll be alright !
@@alltheDCteams yes, he’s super pissed the total went over 44. Most sportsbooks had the total at 44 when the line opened but it moved to 45.5 before the game. He screwed a lot of people out of money.
@@Rico401Provif they cut him they’re going to have to pay him out anyway. It’s partially on the coaching staff too for not going for a two point conversion after the first or second missed PAT

Nah bruh, it’s NOT okay. It’s a multi-billion dollar business and you can’t have a mental midget JV kicker on a Super Bowl team. He would’ve cost us a close game.
He is human. For anyone who has played any sport....we all have good days and bad days. Many different factors. I can respect Brett for manning up and taking fault not making excuses.
normally this is an automatic release, but up until this point he's been arguably the best kicker this season at least one of the best making huge shots with consistency.
That's like a company driver causing an accident resulting in a lawsuit that nearly bankrupts the company. He just had a bad day. Bad enough to fire his ass.
I honestly thought after the second pat miss that Dallas would start to do two point conversions for this game and then go back to normal with Brett the following game.
I for one, as a lifelong Cowboys fan, think they should stick with Brett and see how he does the remainder of the postseason. He’s proven over the years to be a competent kicker. I have no idea what happened in his mind last night, but it is very uncharacteristic of him and I don’t think he will repeat that showing.
I still believe this guy's the best kicker in the NFL. How soon we forget how he won the game against Cincinnati with his Kik and how he kicked a 60-yard ER which a timeout was called and he had to kick again and he promptly made the 60-yard again and won the game people forget that that's just be glad he did this during a blowout game.
Guy has made so many 50plus kicks and this was such a freak thing obviously first time ever. I have no doubt Brett will be the same dependable great kicker we have leaned on and needed several times. Have full faith in the coaches and players.
@@cynthiaesquivel274 lol. Sure. I have a tin foil hat to sell you too 😂. It’s bigger than his because he’s an nfl athlete not because of aliens in your underwear
here for ya B Maher !! some things just have no explanation - no need. You saved your BOYS asses plenty of times - now its your turn for a little grace
Cowboy fan and I felt bad for the guy but you cannot go to him as your kicker next week. This isn't an off night, it's the yips. That's 100% mental and never clears up quickly. For his sake and Dallas bring in a new kicker.
I’m so glad it didn’t come down to the kicker because they would’ve run him out of town instead it came down to the quarterback and I still say that they had a better chance with Rush. I hate the Cowboys but they did themselves in with their quarterback situation and they are just realizing it.
"He's been good all year." What have you done for me lately? Fall completely apart in the most important game of the year so far. That was so bad it's like he was paid to take a dive.
The nervous look on his face tells anyone with some common sense all we need to know imo. You can tell this man is more frustrated with himself than anyone else on the team or any fans watching might be because he obviously demands so much more from his self than he displayed and is probably very upset for letting the team/team mates down by missing. That said this dude has played lights out all damn season and deserves the benefit of a doubt 💯 he will absolutely bounce back and im completely confident in that!! LETS GO COWBOYS NATION DCF4L!!!! BRETT MAUHER YOU GOT THIS NO WORRIES!!!!!!
kinda crazy they can make ungodly kicks all day and pull it out for the team but have a bad game they wanna drop him like a hot potato. given this game was bad but still
@@sjfrank88 that can still be an off night mentally for him tho. Maybe his mind wasn’t in the right place last night or it just wasn’t exactly clicking
We need you to clean out your locker son . We going another direction We saw some college highlights of this Ohio state football kicker Noah Ruggles. The next wild thing
Keep your head up and believe in yourself. Get back on track in practice and be ready to bring your A - Game on Sunday. Your number will be called again
Maher will be ok he just had a bad game like other players do some time! Just be thankful that the game didn't come down to a field goal r extra point to win!
