When my mom passed, we praised God for taking her home. She was in a Alzheimer’s facility for 4 years and couldn’t even say one word only sounds. At her funeral, we were so happy to know she was finally at peace and happy! Praise God!

I so agree Amy the grief and loneliness never goes away. I was 42 when my Dad passed. I have a very loving husband and 10 year old daughter which have helped me greatly and I know you have a very loving husband which means everything 🙏🏻♥️

Amy I really enjoy your videos so much! I wanted to say that I lost my Daddy 5 years ago and I’m still grieving over the loss. It does come and go but it’s still there. After that I have had anxiety and wonder if it will ever change. So it was just very helpful to hear that someone else feels like me. Thanks for being so open and honest about your feelings.🥰

I live in an area known for Fall Apples and they start being available mid August, so our town kicks it off with an Apple Festival. This allows me to be able to decorate in August and most of September with apple decor. It lets me get summer decor put away and gives me a transition before pumpkin decor in October and November. I feel Apple decor is subtle enough to finish out the summer heat in August. You are absolutely glowing and look beautiful, you did a great job making your health a priority, you go girl 💪🏻 ❤

I lost my Dad when I was in 12th grade, my oldest sister placed me in counseling right away, which is the best thing that could have happen. I am now 61, years old. I still miss my Dad so much, but the counseling helped so much!

Aside from another beautiful video, I'd like to thank you for mentioning your mental health. I, too, lost my father in 2020. I was his caregiver during the last 7 months of his life. It was during Covid, and so we were isolated, except for the hospice nurses who routinely visited. I so related to what you've experienced as you grieve. Again, thank you for being a virtual friend to me today. It helps to know we aren't alone.

I can so relate, I lost my Dad in 2019 and my Mom just 17 months later, neither was expected and it was beyond devastating. I'm still trying to heal from the loss. There's just a huge hole in my life now, I feel so disconnected in life. Prayers for your heart, it's a rough road.

I love this video! Your home just screams cozy and peaceful! You decorate so beautifully and minimal, i love it!! It's 110 here with extremely high humidity, so i already decorated our home for fall 2 weeks ago with the exception of pumpkins because I waiting on real ones to incorporate in our home. I wish I could let our windows up, but that want happen until like November lol. Your Maggie is so precious ❤️ and your dress is beautiful!! You look great as always!!

So calming and beautiful. Both your home AND you! Something my Mother taught me, fold your pillow inserts in half, hold on to them that way to get them into the cover. Works really well!

Omg my beautiful sister in Christ we lost our dads the same year?! I’m so sorry for our lost. My dad had Pancreatic Cancer. He was like my best friend. I never thought of getting help because he would always tell is’ the lord is your strength and we do all things through Christ. True but some things we shouldn’t just deal With when there’s help out there. Anyway kindred spirit I always love your suttle decor and how you just let everything takes its course when it comes to decorating. I hope you and the family have a blessed weekend my darlings ❤🙏🏽

Where we live in CA we are still having triple digit heat, but with the tropical storm that hit, it’s been raining so much and the temperatures dropped tremendously! So the last two days I’ve let myself get excited about fall coming and lit a fall scented candle and even set out a little pumpkin (we grew our own this year and had to harvest early because some were splitting from the heat). But I know later this week temps will rise again and it will be full on summer until mid October, which I will totally embrace. But in the meantime I enjoyed watching you decorate for fall! My kids and I will be flying to see my parents in Ohio this week so it will be fun to experience some Midwest weather! I love all the touches you put in your home, they are perfect for the transition from late summer to early Fall!
