With Crackdown 3 around the corner, I thought it would be fun to look back at the best glitches in Crackdown 2! Vote here for the next Best Glitches episode: / 1093968110141333504
Crackdown 2 was in some of my best summer memories, I made some nice friends in the keys to the city mode and we absolutely wrecked the entire map :). Thank you for the video! It took me back to those days.
Played it yesterday, just for for nostalgia and some random guy joined me on keys of the city. I had the hazmat skin on (orange) and funnily enough so did he. He came to me and we both jumped up and down. We spawned in a heli and killed a bunch of freaks. Gotta love this game and it's community.
The only reason why they didn't add is because they think it's a failure and that nobody cares about it, yet they add a bunch of crappy indie games nobody will ever play
I never expected mrsaintsgodzilla21 to cover this game again, being the reception Crackdown 2 received. Crackdown 2 is one of my favorite games and I'm glad you took the time to make this video!
I have a personal favorite that I think that I have invented myself... I dub it... the satellite glitch You need the toybox DLC package to gain access to the portable launch pad grenade... Once you have it, you can perform the glitch virtually at any time.... Step 1: Get a civilian vehicle that's not the box or ramp truck ( the civilian vehicles drift off course the least because they are lightweight / can be substituted for random miscellaneous trash that can be maged together meticulously to hang together in flight as an even more accurate and robust method ) Step 2: Place a portable launch pad exit on the vehicles roof and the entrance anywhere you want. ( place it on the roads where civilians drive for bonus effect of sending people to space / agency space program glitch. They don't even despawn too! ) Step 3: Open the driver door and keep it open then place both a launch entrance and exit on the door... The car should now propel itself straight upwards for as long as it is in a certain range of you... ( This disregards vertical distance as the game ignores this when calculating whether or not something should despawn, only lateral distance ) The glitch is now active======================================================================================= Step 4: Simply drive a vehicle ( preferably the buggy ) into the launchpad entrance on the ground and get sent sailing though the sky! Extra tips: #1 placing this glitch under a vehicle drop zone will make for a hilarious trap for any helicopters dropping a vehicle such as a battle bus... The helicopter will drop whatever it was told to deliver then immediately disappear because the car it just dropped crashed into the helicopter at mach 10 speed... #2 There's a particular spot I love to do this glitch... In map perspective, look at hope springs nuclear power station and go to the tactical location that's dead north of it ( I think you know the one with the two big smoke stacks ) And in this particular location you will find a sort of.... triple stacked bridges of sorts hanging just over the roads that lead up to the tactical location. Set up the glitch so that any incoming cars get flung straight up and into this precarious ceiling, and watch the civilians spontaneously burst into flames as they bounce around and then explode... #3 IMPORTANT === Any civilians or peace keepers killed using this method will not register as you killing them, hence this method is a safe way to fool around without making the agency or civilians angry. In fact when the civilians die in your presence and you don't have anything to do with it...( according to the game ) The civilians will begin to like you more, and will have nicer things to say to you while you are casually running around the city.
Another fun glitch was what my friends and I dubbed the "dropkick" glitch. You open and immediately close the wingsuit as you make contact with another player to launch them flying.
This video brought back memories and I now remember discovering multiple glitches that I forgot how to do. Although there is one where you can make a zombie out of a dead civilian it has something to do with the mags
I miss the good old days when glitches in games used to be fun. Nowadays glitches are associated with bugs, unpolished textures, missing textures, falling through the floor and lag.
Using a magnetic granade I did launch a buddy outside of the map back in 2010, but there are more here I will be sure to try...fantastic stuff! This was such an unappreciated title ..tons of fun and possibilities offered.
I remember when playing this on my Xbox 360, good ol days 😢 how today we have toxic kids playing fortnite and all these games are copying the Battle Royal. No games have original ideas anymore and the gaming market is ruled by EA and Activision which is fucking shit
Ralph09900 Lo I’ve played it and had a blast but it is not worth $60, it’s the first crackdown I’ve played so I don’t have any bases to compare but I’ve seen many reviews like “downgrade from what 2 had”
Loved this game . Loved the music just as much as the game play used to love listening to the "bad moon rising" remix which got me in to the Original version
You dont really need keys to the city for the dock glitch, if you get all your skills to level 6 you unlock thrusters built into your agent. Great video non the less, used to play this game all the time.
Lol I miss this game, all I use to do is kill zombies jump off buildings and across buildings and play with stickys bombs and put bombs in the giant toilet, the song really brings back the memorys geez
I accidentally got the super launch glitch. I was flying in a helicopter, and my friend kept throwing magnet grenades at me, and at the bridge. Eventually, I got flung out the helicopter and out the map. I hade God Mode on, but my body was still limp. There was no way to leave except for killing myself
The Iron Man glitch is actually still possible to do, all you need to do is to press B to perform a ground pound then while you are falling with the ground pound press Y And A at the same time and if done properly it should work.
When I got my Xbox 360 for christmas 2007 or 2008 Crackdown was the very first game that I ever played and I played Crackdown 2 when it first came out so I'm hoping Crackdown 3 will be just as fun and awesome as well as have keys to the city returning to have extra fun
@@avci6084 only if you were looking for it to be in the same style as the first or even the 2nd...I just finished the campaign and it was really good because I treated it as its own game in the series. Sure its really futuristic and there is a lot of neon but its natural evolution. Crackdown was fairly close to reality in terms of weapons and vehicles as well as minor street gangs (latin gang, russian mob, triads). Crackdown 2 was set about a decade later with an apocalyptic feel against a terrorist group and mutants. Crackdown 3 is set about a decade after 2 was and is set in a city built by a billion dollar company to control the citizens but with all of the funding they can afford better technology for all of the lights, vehicles, and weapons
Edit: what's that white area at 9:00? Is it an area you can get to? Im surprised they haven't made Crackdown 2 backwards compatible yet. I know the first one is but as the 3rd one is nearly here I thought it'd have been a good idea on thier part.
The super speed glitch is still possible the original way and so is the iron man glitch I’ve been playing since the games release and given how a few years ago I used to be one of the very few people still playing I’d know if the glitches worked or not
Hey Do U Know How To Fix The Objects What Characters Are Holding In Cutscenes On Saints Row 2 they just sort of clip of out the hand or the character isn't exactly holding it it's just hovering in the air next to him or something, I'm on PC btw and I have Gentlemen Of The Row Installed
