The ending was so good and led us on so well Then crackdown 3 just threw it out the window Could you imagine agents fighting agents trained by Cell? That would have been way better then “terry crews: the game”
Nah Crackdown 3 did the right thing going back to the roots of the first game and not throwing away the gang boss system in favour of standing on buttons and doing boring beacon defence missions that get insanely difficult by the end.
This game's ending was fucking baller man. To think this is what a game that suffered from a difficult development cycle and mediocre reviews looked like in 2009-2010. That's fucking crazy to me.
Maybe, but the Cell organization don't even care about the people, they don't care about the people getting infected by the Freak virus. The Agency were only trying save the city and its people, nothing more
@@marcusw.bryant4857 Wow you haven't played the first game, the ending of that game tells you that *Spoilers* The Agency funded the Criminal gangs as a way to get the people of Pacific City to give the Agency full control over the city, and that in Crackdown 2 Cell was originally peaceful before the events of the game but the Agency sent undercover Peacekeepers to incite violence in the organisation which explains their hate for the Agency and the people of Pacific City.
@@marcusw.bryant4857 Oh ok but that should have been an indicator enough to show that the Agency while seeming like they want what is best for the citizens of Pacific City, they want to consolidate as much power as they can
I had a funny glitch happen to me during the final mission, where I died just as the first tower was completed. Upon regenerating, the AI completely shut down for the remaining two towers, and I easily won the game.
I was expecting to Katalina Thorne to do some kind of hibrids between "Agent" and the infected, so they could resist Sunbrust Project, or maybe the "Agent" (the one we play as) to be some kind of a final mutant boss
Yes, The agent, basically the character youve been playing this whole time. sacrificed himself to take down Cataline Thourne's gunship, thus letting Operation Sunburst succeed. At the end of the video Catalina has an arm in the tube. Your arm, the arm of your agent, insinuating that she plans to remake you. it had a lot of implications that in the 3rd game, Crackdown 3. You would be a reborn agent, similar to the one you were playing. But because you werent brainwashed by the Agency, you would learn just how evil they are. And then crackdown 3 came out and it was actual dogshit.
@@hanzo5q I’ve just completed the game and I don’t know if I missed something but I don’t understand why the agency are the bad guys? Can someone explain?
@@aidencleary62 In Crackdown 2 there isn't that many signs that the Agency is evil in game but if you listen to some Audio logs that you can find throughout Pacific City telling us that Cell was originally a peaceful organisation but the Agency sent undercover Peacekeepers to incite violence and the fact that the Freak virus isn't made by Catalina Thorne but is from the previous game after killing one of the Shai-gen lieutenants.
Unlike the first one which leaves all complete, this takes the "we saved all your progress but the final mission is not done yet", the boss will also stop telling you to finish the mission too
