Don't miss the third hunt on my new field! I've made some cracking finds! Music: NotaBene / Contact: www.notabene-musik.de/styled/ Metal Detector: XP Deus V4 The Barbaric Coin: • Metal Detecting German...
Hi Hans. It's taken me almost one whole year of my busy life watching not much else, but I've now finished your entire channel in order from start to finish! Thanks for making these truly great videos, you edit and shoot them so nicely and professionally. The cuts of scenery, insects and wildlife make them relaxing to watch and Notabene music really fits perfectly too. I've enjoyed following your journey and the moments along the way. Some things that come to mind... The Medieval gold ring found in the woods by the old trading road, simply amazing! The ancient fibula from the same site and your excitement around finding it... Eating the iron bolt (lol) and discovering that belter of a Roman Siliqua in your profile photo! Thanks so much for taking the time to put this channel together as I know from experience how arduous video editing is. You deserve 100's of thousands of subscribers! I look forward to your next upload and hope this coming winter doesn't keep you indoors too much ;). All the best!
hello my friend! your comment made me happy :) thank you for taking the time to watch all of my videos! it's great to hear that you like them that much and it encourages me to continue filming my hobby. thank you very much for your kind words about my videos :) I also hope that I will have places to detect in winter. if only I had a woodland permission! all the best and thank you for being a loyal viewer of my channel!
Hans, thank you for sharing your sucessful treasure hunt. I believe buckles are becoming my second favorite find. This field reveals coins & relics from every era of history. It's amazing to see the centuries unfold as you move along. I so appreciate being able to come along. Happy hunting!

Hallo Hans! thanks for sharing your day in the field, that barbarian coin is just amazing-especially when you think of all the farmers that have plowed there over the ages. Well done!
my pleasure :) thank you for watching my friend! these barbaric coins are fantastic. they are exciting finds because of their history! all the best, hans
You have some of the most professional videos on RU-vid. I really like how you transition from a long range to short range in the digging process. You made some wonderful medieval to roman finds. Well done and I look forward to your future videos. GL and HH!

Moin Moin Hans....
I find That what I really love about your videos is, when you determine what you have just unearthed, you always look up at the camera with excitement and a laugh like a little child. It is delightful!
The title says it all and you had some real craftsmen living in that area for many centuries if the quality of work on those finds is any indication of ability. Groovy.
I think it has something to do with the close proximity to frankfurt. the fairs that have taken place place there in medieval times count to the most important of that time. thank you for watching richard!
Enjoyed your video very much Hans...some really beautiful finds. You are so lucky to be able to hunt ancient and mid evil artifacts....Glad you like your new coil..Cheers Mark
hello mark, I'm happy to hear that my friend :) the coil is great and I can't wait to use it on my challenging fields which are still under crops. thank you for watching and all the best, hans
Excellent finds Hans, the medieval strap buckle was an unexpected find. That new coil is really working well for you. I will share your video as always on my facebook.
hello my friend, I'm happy to hear you like the finds I made. I especially like the buckle, too. but also the barbaric coin stunned me.thank you for watching my video and massive thanks for sharing :) all the best, hans
Hi Hans, Some great finds my friend, the HF coil is great on the small targets you might miss with one of the other coils. Your videos are great Hans when you put them onto the big screen on your PC, very well filmed and clear, take care Hans, all the very best, Richard GL&HH
hello richard, I'm glad about the finds I made.. it was a lot of fun detecting the field even though it was a long day! the HF coil is indeed very sensitive. I can't wait to use it on my challenging fields! thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend! all the best and take care too!, hans
Hallo Hans ! I'm speechless ! Beautiful finds again ! You are incredible Hans ! Wow, very interesting. Love the coins as always..but The buckle intrigued me. Hans, if their is a small piece of leather, inside the buckle, could they get an age of the buckle? ...or would the copper, and soil destroy any tests ? And....lol.. I was wondering if a coin could be given an MRI, or a CAT scan or scanning microscope, to see any designs or symbols on it? I thought there was a way to "see" what was hammered into the coin, or am I wrong Hans? Very very very interesting.!!! Thanks Hans. Matt.
Unless it's of some importance the cost of MRI or CAT scanning is too expensive to use on small bits of metal. Around $1000 - 1400 and an MRI with contrast is over £3000
Thanks for the video. Very well made as usual. You shut check the stone.. I dont see any scrats on it... Its possible a real one.. Regards from Portugal.
Hallo Hans. Unglaublich, abgesucht gibt es einfach nicht. Super schöne Funde, klasse Video. Was will man mehr 😄 Ich gehe nicht weiter in jeden einzelnen Fund ein, denn jeder ist einfach grandios. Weiter so, Hans. Gut Fund, LG
das gibt es tatsächlich nicht :) freut mich, dass dir die funde dieses sondelgangs gefallen! danke fürs anschauen und für deinen netten kommentar! vlg und gut fund, hans
As always Hans, very nice vlog. I just can't get over the fact how well edited they are, it looks like there is a camera crew filming what you are doing :-) And, the cracking finds make me a little bit jealous ;-) Thanks for sharing!
thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear that :) I have a lot of fun filming and editing my hunts. It's great that you appreciate my work :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment!
I had missed you Hans. I had forgotten to hit the bell so that I got all your notifications on new videos. I am glad it was just that instead of something happening to you. I love the videos you make.
hello mary, I'm happy to hear that you like my videos :) thank you for watching my channel. I hope to be able to upload my first video of 2018 soon! all the best, hans
As an American living here in far west central Germany I am blessed to have all this fertile ground to explore. The history that I learn from your channel is priceless. Keep up the good work.
I'm glad you like the finds I made. the big buckle is indeed a stunning find and I'm very happy about it! thank you for watching! all the best, GL&HH! hans
What a great mix of fantastic finds Hans ! Time to go out myself again, you inspired me ;-) I'm allready looking out to your next video because autumn is aproaching and I know there are going to be some beautifull stills in it. GL & HH !
hallo johan, I'm glad you like the mix of finds in my latest video and that it inspired you to go detecting :) I hope my next video will meet your requirements :D thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend! all the best, GL&HH! hans
Scary weather, Hans :-) I see you are using at least 2 cameras now... Good job! Next you could get a drone and show us some wonderful aerial views! Have a nice week, sir!
hello rafael, haha. . it was.. I had to flee one time because of a hefty brash :D I'm still using only one camera. it's all about filming and editing :) drones have been massively regulated in germany. you now need an expensive licence to operate them. . have a nice week too my friend! all the best, hans
thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear that. I set myself standards that doesn't make it easy for me to "just" upload a video :D it has advantages but also disadvantages. . thank you for watching!
Hello Hans!!! Another great video with a very nice ring!!! I hope you'll be able to come to Detectival next year!!! That would be nice to meet you there!!! Thank you for sharing !!!👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
hello my friend, thank you for watching! the ring is nice indeed . . too bad it is so mangled. It would be interesting to join this event next year. I will see what I can do :) all the best, hans
Hans, great to see the cracking new finds. I am sure you have an amazing collection, it might make an interesting video to have a show and tell of some of your greatest relic finds over the years. Thanks again for the great video. Your edits are well thought out, creative, and interesting to watch.
hello! thank you for watching :) I'm happy to hear you like the finds I made! I couldn't make a video about my finds as I simply haven't got a collection. I hand over all substantial finds to the archaeologists. I haven't got a display or anything else in my flat where I put finds. thank you for appreciating my filming :) all the best, hans
Hi Hans, Some great finds again!! and Great Video........ Thanks for sharing.......................... Regards Owen.....................................................................
Hi Hans Once again a very enjoyable video which your editing skill makes a pleasure to watch. Many beautiful finds there and difficult to decide which find I thought was the best. GL&HH Alex
Amazing finds again. you video are like a fairy tale to me from over here...I cant believe that Buckle still intact..awesome..well done Hans..ATB Michael
Hi, i am a new subscriber. I very much love your videos. I love the descriptions, editing, end image of the cleaned up item with description. I also love the way you end your videos, with clips of nature. Keep the good job!
hello mary, welcome on my channel :) thank you for watching, subscribing and for your kind words about my videos. I'm happy to hear you like them! all the best and greetings from germany, hans
It's a indeed stunner! I really like the find and it is in a wonderful condition. all moving parts still work! thank you for watching and for your kind comment my friend :)
Fabulous finds, lovely button and old ring just to name a few. I love watching your videos as you have so much history in your country to unearth. We have nothing of this caliber in Canada. I'm so envious and truly enjoy going along on your adventures. Bye for now, Auf Wiedersehen from Canada.
oxoc ah , thanks for your links. I'm speaking of the old coins, artifacts roman bronze medieval etc... WW1 and WW2 finds in the fields and forests. I know we have major historical finds here in Canada. To metal detect here and find what is found in these videos can't be done here in Canada. I've found many fossils myself, I have been to historical dig sites but if I was to go to a field or forest in Canada I do not find what's found in Europe. I'd more than likely find a piece of a broken plow blade or a tin can from an old mining camp and that's it if you understand my point. No chance of much else other than that no matter how significant the area. Canada does not have the history I'm speaking of that Europe does.
Got you. Just today i found two Napoleon buttons. I guess you can't find those there. Would still like to visit Canada and go exploring. Treasure is where you find it. Have a nice day ())(()(
I had a lot of fun even though it was a very exhausting hunt..thank you for watching and for your kind comment. I'm happy to hear you enjoy watching them!
