Big fan of the way they integrated the unlocking of technology into the story. A lot of these types of games just tell you that research is needed, even though we are part of a technologically advanced society that should already have this knowledge and just give it to you. Here they let you know that this is a new planet with resources you have never used before so they must be scanned and researched to see how to make it work with the knowledge we have. Very well done and a great episode, looking forward to more of this. Thank you!

Z, You need to start QUEUEING up Research. That way you're always working on Research. The queue does not disrupt active research, it just sets the next set of research to perform and means that you keep performing research...

this is an emergency! you are stranded on an alien planet and in order to survive you have to follow tutorial. 1st, press W A S D to move..... - I'm glad this game doesn't do that and focus instead of the more important aspects that a newbie like me really needs.

This game has changed since I last played it. so far, it looks easier than before. I remember how unforgiving it was back then until I learned how to close the void rifts. BTW, I did buy this game around the time you last checked it out years ago, so I appreciate it.
