A real classic. Written by Blind Joe Reynolds and covered almost 40 years later by Cream on Disraeli Gears, this blues grooves like almost no other. Cream's sound just works so well here.
The EBO pickup is surprisingly different in character from the Gibson mudbucker, I mean you can't expect a $40 pickup to match the original exactly but it's got its own sweet spot that sounds really nice. If I'm not wrong Jack is playing a Danelectro Longhorn on this recording and the EBO's pickup happens to do that kind of sound easier.
@@torchmusic27 good man you do your homework. when he changed from the Fender Vl ,to the Dano occured Jack bought two identical models at Maury's Music in NYC for the Disraeli sessions (a little over 2 Weeks before post production began)I've always wondered when/why he decided to go with EB3 for the rest of their time as a band
@@torchmusic27 you can experiment with the tone control of the EBO,and the gain since it has only the one mudbucker to approximate the relative clarity of the EB3' bridge p up.
