If you get a sharp edge o the strap after using the Subdivion, just select all the mesh with A on edit mode and press Shift+N, this should fix it. When researching i found out that this is a Normals problem. Hope it helps!
The Ctrl + Right click when creating the strap does not work properly like in the video. The faces are not rotating and the size of the extruded faces are messed up. Actually its doing the exact same thing as Shift + Ctrl + Right click and Idk why please help.
before inset (clicking i) select object (the whole object) >> ctrl+A and choose scale, now when you inset it will offset the faces equally and when extruding to cursor which is ctrl+right mouse click it will auto rotate.
that coffin reminded me of the windmill tutorial where there was a coffin shape loopcut in one of the windmill blades. always brings me a smile on my face but should I be happy watching coffin shape?

I'm new here and one of the first videos i watched was your concept shoe modeling video. since watching that video i was able to work on a shoe collection of my own that i sketched out a couple years back as well as new shoes. would you consider doing more shoe modeling videos of more complex shoe ideas? i'm sorry if that isn't specific enough.

what if .. i want the sole logo to be debossed? should I put another displacement map? and how can I reposition it? if iam gonna use another displace node? whats the flow. idk thanks!
