Create A YouTube Brand Account without Deleting Your Channel

UPDATED VERSION HERE • Create A RU-vid Brand...
Most people don't know there are two types of RU-vid accounts, a branded account and a personal account. So which one should you have?
A branded account allows you to add channel managers to your channel without sharing your Google password. If you plan to outsource or delegate your RU-vid work its going to be important that you can added channel managers to your RU-vid account. Another added benefit of a RU-vid branded account is you could have some review your channel, like me, and give you the best steps for you to take moving forward to make your channel better and how to grow your channel faster.
If you aren't sure whether you have a personal or branded account I'm going to walk you through the process in this video and show you how to move your channel to a branded account if it isn't already.

Question for NATIVE ENGLISH speakers: I'm thinking about starting a youtube channel for IT-related tutorials called "Now Time". I.e. NOW TIME - Moving forward while living in the now! Is "NOW TIME" grammatically correct and does it make sense, is it acceptable for native English speakers or it looks wired to you? Any reply would be much appreciated! :)

Hello, I followed your guide, it works. *But* There is one major thing I did not see mentioned here or anywhere else. *You must wait 24 hrs before you can access the account* I wasted 3 hours going crazy trying to figure out what the problem is, turns out it's just youtube doing its thing getting ready for us.

Thanks for the guidelines i had two channel branded now. However, i just read that google has descided to eliminate google +, do you know if my you tube channel will be deleted with google + get deleted? I do not want to lose my youtube channel . Great video, I had some questions though. How to do this now google plus is going away. I am actually wanting to start 4 different channels and have them linked together. If I could have the option to also have my own personal channel easily switchable to that would be great also. But, from the ground up... just starting 4 new channels how recommend do it? I was sitting down tonight to make 4 new gmail accounts but after searching around a little bit and watching this I am questioning everything.

Hello, first of all, thanks for the video! It was super helpful, and encouraged me to create a brand account. Unfortunately, I'm running into an issue where I can't log into my newly made brand account--losing all access to my videos and subscribers. My channel still exists on youtube but I just can't access the channel any longer. Simply clicking on my icon and "switching the account" simply takes me back to my now already empty personal channel (as all of my videos and subscriber count has been moved). Any help would be appreciated.

There's no real disadvantages to using a brand account. I do not use my personal account, I use a brand account instead :)

Thanks. Next I would like to move ownership of the branded channel to a new email. This email is now set up as a manager for the channel. Although there are quite a few videos on how to do this, none of them address the issues I am having. Firstly If I now go onto the original channel account the manager (Add or remove managers) option is not there. I am assuming this is because the channel has been moved to be a branded channel. However if I go to the branded channel and open the add or remove manager and then the manage permissions tab, it still lists the original email as the primary owner and there are no drop down taps as shown in other videos where the manager/ownership options are. Your help will be appreciated.

I'm screwed. There no Google plus I missed the chance to change . So I still have a icon that says No Channel and one that just says Garra2424. When used my email address it kept going to blank page . My cousin who had on the account deleted this blank account with out me know and I booted him from access. NOW there no email icon or address showing just says Garra2424. I was using firefox , and now it a crawl no show. I had to go to chrome. I scared to log out in case my cousin had screwed me .It not even showing default next to it on my goggle. The other address keeps popping up first on my phone. But this one on my desktop. But now that this 9ne is tied forever to the Google plus email and no way to change it. Do I need to add a second email address on RU-vid side or Google side incase I cant get back in. I can continue to put content out knowing if my dumb cousin has now ruin my account. But it irking me with one saying(Owner) NO CHANnEL then brand Garra2424 with the same email address IS THIS NORMAL! I reached the halfway point in subscribers an dont want to start investing if it looks weird on desktop...do I need to add another contact email on RU-vid side or Google side.. Shutting down Google plus has fk..everyone they could have waited till next year to give people more time. This is stressing me out I want to know if my account exists still logout . Dont want lose my progress! Help!

Same, and I have a massive headache from it. Even when I create a non Google+ branded RU-vid (since Branded Google+ "are no longer supported) I have the same problem, it does not show up in the box and if I move to it anyway, I lose EVERYTHING and it will "Delete the Channel" so no more subscribers, playlists, email, NOTHING. I'm super pissed off and need to get this done ASAP for my business... has ANYONE had any luck with other methods yet???
