This might be a good thing for me as I really want to have plants in the house again(gave up over 10 beautiful plants 22 yrs ago when I moved to Hawaii for a few years). Since then, we have added cats to the family, and a couple of them will damage any plant I bring home. The lid will keep the cats away from them.
That looks great! For a month. Do you just keep replacing the fern with a new one every month as it grows? 😂 I know that variety of fern doesn’t get massive, but one that size can’t exactly grow too much more without making the whole terrarium (that size) look overgrown.
Thank you so much for all of your videos! I have really enjoyed watching so many of them and have been inspired to create my own. I look forward to developing my terrarium building skills. Do you know of a source for springtails in the United States?
I'm very nre to terarium making and planning to build my first one. Do I need to fully seal it for best ecosystem set? Where to found that moss in a nature?
This mimics a mini earth, and the jar has an active water cycle when kept in the sun, as the water accumulates on the walls of the tank and drops right back on the ground. Plus the plants add another layer to it, while also helping with the oxygen cycle
