using a mister on a timer will keep the plants watered. Add isopods and springtails. Also add leaf litter, organic is best or self collected from a nonpesticide or fertilizer area and sterilied in your oven at 200F for an hour. Oak, maple, beech, willow, birch and birch paper bark is all good foor for the arthropods you canaso place pots in your foam and use them to hold smaller pots with plants in them like orchids and spider plants.
