Ohh I love this band

Stu Cook turns my stomach the way he tries to claim that he, Tom and Doug Clifford were somehow equal creative partners with John. The band started to fall apart when the other three forced John to compromise. They had their chances to write and perform their own songs, both as CCR and solo artists and they flopped. They outvoted John on money management, put the royalties in an offshore account and lost millions. Without John's knowledge they sold control of the songs to Zaentz, who promptly fired them. Three of the most clueless musicians of the era. The public would have had no idea they existed if it weren't for John's songs and performances. Look at his solo success since the breakup.

It took 4 guys to make this work. "To say Tom,Stu and Doug were John's backup band is totally wrong."

Music nowadays sucks newer bands should take note on awesome this band perhaps mixing some newer sound with some of this sound instead of shit country but what do I know I'm just another a asshole on the internet lol
