All it means is that the account is verified to be from who it says it’s from; if the account posts something adhorrent then that means the real person behind it is a verified asshole.

A big problem with TikTok is that the report feature just doesn't fucking work. They're really strict on following their community guidelines to the letter, but they're poorly written enough to let loads of terrible shit through, and sometimes even when something that DOES violate community guidelines is reported, it doesn't get taken down. Recently a video went viral where a dog had its head ripped off by a pack of other wild dogs. Not even a fucking warning saying like "Hey there's gore here" it was just the video. The video got reported loads, but TikTok didn't do anything. I'm not surprised that they've kept this stuff up, because there have been multiple VERIFIED TikTokers that were confirmed paedophiles.
tiktoks can get deleted for something that is not even there, for example you made a tiktok where you show off your flowers, nothing else there, and it can get deleted for "showing the pewdiepie symbol" it just fucking sucks

The thing that gets me is that seeing a person plank on a person doing the splits is impressive in its own right, with the physical capabilities they had they could've gotten plenty of views without making it the creepiest scenario they could think of.

Ive been praying for a CME to take mankind back to the pre-internet era for a long while now. Civilization as we have it now is not the way man was meant to live. A species’ goal, and especially humanity’s goal is to (of course keep reproducing and dont go extinct) but also to keep getting better and improving and getting more knowledge. Making electronics and then social media was a very important step in our history that shows how fast we have improved as a species. The problem is: no one can control who accesses internet. and of course, there are a lot of assholes on the internet, a lot of trolls, a lot of haters, even stalkers and pedos and other EXTREMELY bad people. And then there’s also a lot of young kids who are exposed to all of this. That is the problem with the internet. The next advancement we should have as a species is educate more and more people about not only using the internet, but also to behave as human beings and treat others with respect and dignity. What do you think about this though?

You also have to remember that we’re in a pandemic and that generally public gyms are off-limits atm but grocery stores, including Walmart, are considered essential businesses (since they serve basic needs like food and water) and is more likely to be open to the public. It’s probably just easier to make videos in a Walmart without wearing masks than in a gym right now.

I end up watching tiktok with my sister since she has it and I REFUSE to get it, and literally the amount of times we come across literal death, blood and gore is sickening. It's not like you can't find it on other platforms but it's tagged properly and usually only comes up if you search. On Tiktok everything is thrown in your face without trigger warnings. It's disgusting. Tiktok literally does JACK SHIT when it comes to sexual themes, NSFW, or anything else along those lines, and even when they do it takes FOREVER. They're so fucking incompetent in all ways possible and only care about their own PR rather than what actually goes on in their platform jfc

I have to disagree with Charlie on this point, not all training has to be geared towards trying to achieve an aesthetic look. It all boils down to goals and its obvious this guy trains to achieve specific, calisthenic skills. In one of the earlier videos Charlie displays, the guy does a Straddle Planche, which if you train calisthenics, or do gymnastics then you know thats an extremely difficult movement to accomplish. Also, later he performs a Front Lever which again is another extremely difficult movement to do. Both movements requires a strong foundation of basic movements such as pushups, pullups, dips, rows, flags, etc. As noodle armed, and skinny as the guy looks, he, relative to his body weight, is a strong fellow. Though nonetheless he still is a P.O.S for the content he uploads.
The saddest part is that kids today look at this kind of content and get the impression that doing this stuff is actually cool and there is nothing wrong with it
