A collection of funny/chaotic moments from Critical Role Episode 116! This is just a longer version of the video I originally posted here: / 1328501665691996160
@@jebodeiasque even better, it was 99% Travis, Sam and Liam keeping track of whenever Marisha almost managed to stop laughing, then making fart noises at her to get her going again. They kept that joke alive for so long and I love them for it
I’m so glad someone else took notice of “Tonight’s forecast...it’s cold...” because I lost my shit over that and Flando didn’t even make a goddamn time stamp for it
Watching Marisha laugh is a perfect joy, because you know that it’s like that one person in your friend circle who will start the giggles and then the rest will continue. It’s like a gift that keeps on giving.
@@moonmoon2479 Hey no judgement or anything, we critters just want to spread the love, and I just wanted to assure you that wasn't the case, those folks love each other to the Moon and back again and again :), nothing but a shared respect and mutual looking up to each other and holding each other up. Be a Critter friend, we are always glad to have one more! :)
@@deffdefying4803 from what I’ve seen, she doesn’t laugh when they are trying to be funny, except maybe Laura and Ashley. She laughs AT them and finds that ridiculously funny. So it’s like she’s laughing at how stupid they are. So it’s honestly what I would think, hurtful that a friend would laugh at you for hours because you slipped up one word or your hands moved weird. That just seems very mean spirited. And yet when they make a joke, that’s not funny. On top of that, all of the one-upping she tries to do to the people around her. And it’s not called out. Like anyone else would be and sometimes is. Thats what gives that vibe. I hope that makes some sense. I’m a little scatterbrained today.
I'm amused that from what I've seen (haven't watched more than clips so far), Beau is a very humourless character with the occasional devastatingly deadpan one-liner, while Marisha is like the giggliest person in the room.
After watching a lot of "Funniest Moments of Critical Role", I think I found out the three key people that if they start to laugh it will ensure that everyone else will start laughing. Those three being Travis, Matt, & Taliesin. It loosely comes down to this formula. Marisha will start laughing due to Matt's laughter. Laura will start laughing due to Travis' laughter. Liam will start to laugh due to either Matt breaking or the combined contagious laughter from Taliesin and Marisha. Sam and Ashley will start laughing due to everyone else just losing their collective shit.
This episode was indeed more crazy than normal but they all looked exhausted (especially Marisha) and I think this was the night of the elections as well so that probably didn't help.
oh there's definitely been a little extra chaos recently. Quarantine, stress, general 2020 maddens all on top of not being able to see each other as much as they'd like. I think play time has always been a place for them to let go and have some fun but its even more important now. I think its cute to see them all unwinding.
This is also filmed in California in a place where quarantine and covid out breaks have just been crazy. Yeah this was right as the elections were going on so it was a bit more silly. I love it!
My favorite thing about the shiver and quiff laughing fits is that Travis made incredibly subtle fart noises when marisha was getting a handle on her laughing at least once.
This was the most chaos they had since that time they kept teleporting between libraries and jester got shot twice in the gut for trying give the person that was lying a bonus to their roll.. 😂😂
This had arguably one of the toughest weeks in my life, and this came up after I had cried from the stressed of life and work and it brought tears to my eyes from laughter. I needed this
This was too pure. I think another funny part would have bin the scene where Matt takes a piece of glitter as the turtle Mini. I just love the part at 3:59:38 where Travis and Matt burst out into laughter.
@@fredie9858 yeah I get it. The only reason I remember is because fell asleep during the twitch stream for 117 and I missed the turtle initially. All the episodes since they left Rumblecusp have started bleeding together in my brain
With quarantine, the animated series, and becoming non profit, these poor souls needed this. I feel bad but also can’t help but to smile and giggle at this chaotic energy rn
Things that happened to me while watching this video: "What do we know?!" -> I knock my water bottle off my desk and yell 'FUCK' Travis laughs in the tune of the Mario jingle -> I nearly choke on my potatoes Marisha rubbing her face and dancing -> I get water p into my sinuses, but not quite out my nose Ashley accidentally plays sound off her tablet -> nearly bit my lip laughing TL;DR: this video is a goddamn danger. I love it.
At least half the fun of watching CR is experiencing the infectiousness energy of a group of friends having a good time. Love that they let us join for the fun.
I still wanna know what video Ashley accidentally started to play... They all seemed to recognize it immediately, probably because they watched it on the break and Ashey just accidentally opened the YT app and it auto-played...
this was the episode when I finally realized how much I miss Liam and Marisha just burying themselves in each other while laughing their asses off I hope that, given the ongoing vaccination, loosening restrictions and all that, the third campaign will return to the common table
Thank you for including the incredibly underrated Travis line “let’s get this girl some orange juice”. Saving this feral energy video for when I need a wholesome chuckle.
I have been in and DM games like this, and for the life of me, I could never pinpoint the thing that set everyone off. It was so much fun and, we got nothing done.
i just love that we could coming back to this video and/or the episode and still laugh along with them at “shiver and quiff” and Ashley making the One Sound like it was the first time
I would like for you to know that I have saved this video specifically so that if I'm having a bad day I can watch it and just giggle along with the cast for 7 straight minutes - thank you for this blessing.
marisharaygun was doing The Travelers work when this video got uploaded! I dont know how many times this video has helped me when I've had a bad day, but thank you!
Sleep deprivation has the same effect and is much cheaper lol. (Not that they've never smoked pot before, I'm sure they have, but still, sometimes all it takes is exhaustion to turn into a ridiculous giggly mess).
I think ashley has great potential to be a bard next campaign. I'm sure her somewhat shyness, humour, musicality and great pearl of social awkwardness would make an interesting character (oh the jokes she could make to burn scanlan's stereotypical bard ways).
Oh my god I didn’t realize how many iconic unhinged moments were in this episode! Shiver and quiff, scientists were able to make one sound *AGH*, AND the spinning glitter turtle?! Amazing, spectacular, show-stopping edit: ah whoops my bad, glitter turtle's the next episode but still, many unhinged moments in these couple episodes lmao
I haven't watched C2, but I've seen several of these clips in different compilations and never realized they were all from the same episode. That must have been one wild night.
This whole ep had me in stitches between shiver and quiff and everything else you could tell that they were all just losing their minds during it xx 🤣🤣🤣
This is why Critical Role is so good and successful. These guys are having fun and are not afraid to just let it out for all to see. I love Marish's laughter; it is so contagious.
