That’s awesome of you to stop and help like that, and I fully believe you. I got stuck on that bridge in traffic. At a standstill at the crest of the bridge for over 8 mins. When I drive over it I always have a mixed feeling of, this is cool and hurry up and get across the bridge.

@@joshhuffines5978 we were stuck at the crest for at least ten minutes in bumped to bumper traffic heading eastbound. Our car bounced up and down the entire time with a range of at least 12 inches. No one said a word for the 3 hour ride home from there.

Those bridges are impressive but I like to get across them nice, smooth and quickly. I’ve got stuck on that one eastbound for about 15 mins and that was enough. I felt the swaying too but not as bad as you did though.

Bridges aren't scary, drivers are.

Yes! thank you, I believe I can -- now that I know the bridge is six lanes wide, and nothing like the Huey P. Long in New Orleans, which is what I had feared.

Melanie Deare the only thing about this bridge is on the east side there is a sharp curve and sometimes there tends to be sudden traffic jams there. However if your paying attention to the signs and speed limit you should be fine. Yes it's 6 lanes.

I actually just went to Florida a few days ago and went across it again on the way down but came across the Vicksburg Mississippi bridge on the way back. I plan on getting some videos up of them soon. I went across the I-10 high rise bridge in New Orleans also heading down there. I haven’t been across the other you mentioned. I’m gonna look it up.

Been across that bridge many times. It’s I-10 over the Atchafalaya Swamp. You’re rights, It’s real long. I’ve got a short video of it too up on my channel.

Hate high bridges. Avoid them like the plague. Was coming back from Texas several years ago & purposely crossed South on a ferry just to avoid this bridge

To me heading eastbound on this bridge is the worse. Seems to be a backup and standstill out of nowhere on that side.
