I like it. I was worried it was going to have those loud popping sounds that those little bitty 2-in pipes have, yours didn't it had a nice growl and the exit was smooth. Sounds nice and cracky when you're getting on it too. One of the more impressive RU-vid videos on these.
Hey man so I actually jus did a muffler delete on my cv lx and I was looking to get it straight piped but I’m having trouble finding affordable pipes/where to get it done? It only had one muffler on it btw
She’s gorgeous in black ! Look at my videos to see what these sound like without any cats or any mufflers . Just straight open headers ! I’m gonna straight pipe her at a shop here soon
@@KaotikArmy I don’t really think NGK products can be beat I usually go with it too I was very surprised with the difference everything made on mine it only had 61,000 miles on it and was running very well so I wasn’t expecting a whole lot of change when I did mine.
@@ganifit5069 So it's not straight piped if it still has cats on it.. when I think of the terminology "straight pipe" I think of literal straight piping from the manifold to the tip or wherever it's lopped off.. Personally with my Crown Vic, I had the secondary cats removed, the first cats are still on along with the factory mufflers , and I think it sounds perfect.. Just enough to give it a more aggressive tone without making it legitmitely loud.
@@KaotikArmy sweet thats what im doing 😎 so you have the front cats then 2.5 inch piping all the way to the back? Sounds fricken awesome dude thats what I decided to do cause of your video
@@KaotikArmy heck yeah i need to wait till next paycheck tho then i’ll get er done. Im so excited and thankful it wont throw codes lol thanks for the video its helped me decide what to do with my car 👍
It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
