Awesome brakes! I honestly expected them to cost more than they actually did.... You may have one of the coolest V6 Camaros that I have seen... good job!
Gotta have a track day to make another one. Want to make sure my brakes are broken in before throwing it around another track. Since im rarely there to drive it, it might be a while.
Spartan........ he tuned my truck. He's the man. A town.......... I'm trying to get my 2012 cts daily v brakes. I feel like taking the 4 pistons off my actual v series and put them on my v6 and put the 6 pistons on my v series. Doesn't make sense for me to put the 6 pistons on my v6 and leave the 4 pistons on my v series. But I would've done the 6 pistons like you did because of track use.
I know a few 5th gen owners who went from the OEM brakes to the 4 piston SS brakes and they said it makes a world of difference. Since i track my car, thats the only reason why i went with the 6 piston setup.
your suspension will make your lighter V6 3780 lbs M6(Yes it is lighter than a 3860 lbs M6 SS) corner really well and with new ZL1 brakes Wow! your Camaro will be amazing!
Hi brother, nice car, I’m planning to do the same setup on my car. Can you provide details about what size of rotors you used on front and back. I got the same set of callipers. Just confused about rotors.
The rotors are the same as the ZL1. The cts v brakes are just repainted ZL1 brakes and vise versa. I can't remember right off the top of my head what size they were, but if you look up the rotor size for the 5th gen ZL1, those are the ones you want.
@@MeAndMineTv yeah I just ordered zl1 rotors, front 14.6” and rear 14.4”. From EBC Brakes Got hawk street 5.0 pads. And same cts-v callipers. Thanks for information brother.
Go on ebay and look up ctsv brakes and you'll see the retailers that offer them. If you have a 5th gen like I had, you can only use the yellow calipers like I had. The silver ones qont fit out car.
+MeAndMineTv Wonder what kinda car that guy (I mean 12 year old kid playing video games) drives? I wouldn't even give him the satisfaction of a reply. Another great video btw. You always crack me up. I love your enthusiasm about your car!! Breaks look badass man. Nice job 🍻
Let's see. That "weak ass V6" as he says has about the same power the V8s had just a few years ago. When the Camaro returned in 2010 the V6 had about the same power as the 2010 Mustang GT.
+fRoDo Gaming 2010 Mustang GT had 315 hp and 2010 Camaro V6 had 304 hp. Yep hilarious. I I hp difference in the V6 Camaro and V8 mustang that year. 😂😂😂😂
