As a Cuban American, many friends have asked me for a recipe for Cuban Pork or Cuban Pernil. This recipe is an easy recipe that my sister has passed on to me. The recipe uses Goya products to make the Cuban Pork | Cuban Pernil and is great to use the Goya products becasue of its convinience factor. You may make your own sofrito and mojo for the pork from scratch but thats not what this video is about.

Recipe:
9-10 lb of Pork Shoulder or Pork Butt with the Fat Cap
3 seasoning packets of Goya
4 ounces of Goya Minced Garlic
6-8 ounces of Goya Sofrito
1 (24.5) ounce bottle of Goya Mojo
1 oven bag
Mix the Goya seasning packets with the garlic in a bowl. Add the sofirto and mix until combined.
Make incisions into the pork and fill with the sofrito garlic mixture. Make sure to do it all over the pork.
Grab a roasting pan and put the rosting bag on the roasting pan and put the the pork in an oven bag. Add the Goya Mojo and add it to the pork. Remove the air from the bag by twiting the top of the oven nag and tie a knot. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 48 hours.
Let the pork sit at room temperature for 1 hour then roast it in a 350F oven for 5-6 hours.
Let it rest for 45 minutes before cutting.
