Gaura Rader grew up in the Hare Krishna religion, and became an official member (monk) at age 18. He has since left and now writes and makes videos about various progressive issues, philosophical and political.
Talk Beliefs asks Gaura about his early days in a Hare Krishna temple, the day-to-day rituals, and what finally caused him to doubt and become an activist.
Gaura runs the Krishna Cult Awareness Foundation a website about the Hare Krishnas, from the viewpoint of an ex-member who now considers the group to be a cult.
Gaura is the author of the upcoming book The God Question: What Should We Believe about God, Science, Religion, and Morality? (click HERE for more: gaurarader.com/)

I love making #talkbeliefs content and appreciate every view, like, and share! Through this channel, people have come to terms with leaving religion, and have taken the first steps to leaving destructive cults. It's my goal to continue to help and educate. Thank you all for your support.
