To create this textured twist curly hairstyle, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Start with creating a middle part on damp curly hair, then section the hair at the top creating two small sections of hair. Then section the hair again, from the parting down to around the top of the ear.
Step 2 - Use a gel to smooth the hair back at the sides of the head. Use a soft brush to help smooth and snatch the hair back.
Step 3 - Tie these two sections back together at the center of the head with a soft hair tie.
Step 4 - Use an oil to smooth the curls and create a workable texture for creating the style.
Step 5 - Gather the back section upwards, and then twist the hair around itself, and then pin in place using a claw clip or pins.
Step 6 - Style the front two sections by pulling some of the hair back, smoothing with a gel to create a clean, sleek parting. Then twist the front sections back into the back twisted section. Pin into place.
Step 7 - Refresh and reactivate the curls at the back of the hair, to create bouncy, textured curls, using our Moisture Memory Reactivator.
Step 8 - Air dry or diffuse the hair at the back to secure the curly hairstyle in place. You can also use hairspray to create more hold.
