That build looks extremely sharp. I just wish I could buy the CYC motor with the 5000w option, all in one package. Until that is available, I will have to wait.

Dear Mr. Out please be safe out doing that speed test... that was fast. Always enjoy your videos. You encouraged me to build my own bike . I installed the bbso2 on my Trek verve and installed a 11 to 52 rear sprocket and it climbs anything i need it to. Thank you for the content.

That is not only powerful but looks discrete enough to evqade the long arm of the law (unless you are hunched down doing 50 mph) Do you allso upgrade the brakes, if you do a test how about also testing stopping distances if you can do that safely

CYC is now selling the DS103 with 72V support. Are you going to start offering that in your store? It seems like the DS103 is more integrated with this kit.

Great conversion. I would like to upgrade my fixtail from BBS02 w 52V 17.5 AH to that set up. I don't see the 72V battery on your web page. If I did that set up with only 52V 17.5 Battery how much of a speed drop do you think I would have? Could I still max out at about 40mph?

What size frame is that because I have a KHS Zaca which is a medium and I could not fit the battery in the frame so I got a Giant Talon in M and unbelievably the battery fit just fine. The Talon is a 27.5 and the Zaca is 29er.

I am on the Gold Coast Australia and we have the perfect climate for Ebikes and yet we are miles behind. Is 4500miles on a BBS02 to many to consider buying second hand ? on what looks to a very well maintained bike in a place where Mid drives are hard to find at a sensible price. What type of gearing did not select for that one?

I am looking to put gen 4 on my Specialized Roll 3.0. I have had the bike for a year now and it is a good all around bike. Didn't you put a gen 3 on one of those? I would like to get all of the parts needed from you including a 52V battery.

The question is, how long can you hold that speed even 35-40mph without overheating?

This motor and battery setup are what I'm looking for, though I'm really fat, I'm 430lbs and looking to lose some weight, do you think this would hold up to that heavy of weight?

Very nice, but not what I’m interested in. When I ride a bicycle I like to smell the roses. Speed like 50 MPH is not practical when you are on a bike path, often they are limited to much less. Another issue will be range, the faster you go the faster you eat up battery. Last issue is how legal is this bike to ride on the road. I’m looking at a ToSeven DM02, my guess is it will probably only top out at about 25MPH. But yes it is a very nice build.

isn't the bike made of aluminum? is there any fear in the torque and destroying the frame.

Fun project, but where's the license plate holder? Because at 3.5kW it's cannot be used as a commuting bicycle, unless the customer is exclusively using trails to get home. This is really important, because the more illegal bikes we build the higher the chances are that cities will start implementing stricter rules on ebikes, which will eventually lead to registration fees. Do the responsible thing and keep your bikes' power within a reasonable range. 750W is ideal, even 1000W is OK, but 3500W is way too much unless you're a) using it exclusively off road, or b) doing the legwork to register it as a motorcycle.

Anything faster than 35MPG on a bicycle is scary. ....this isn't a motor cycle, even though it's doing motor cycle speeds.

LCD display don't decide what battery voltage you're using .. the controller does. Also, the tyres you are using are not rated for high speed, this is just dangerous
