How to change your CV boot without taking the entire driveshaft off the vehicle. The method can be used on other car with similar problem on front wheel drive.
here don on a Land Rover LR3, but would work on Discovery 3 as well.
Cv boot NOT OEM but ordered online for 23 USD and put on easily put on and showing the techniques to do so.

Why dont you simply unbolt ball joint of lower wishbone and retract half shaft?
