I had a player that would constantly ask to roll perception to make sure they weren’t missing anything, and would get pissed if the NPCs weren’t 100% planned out ( name, complete backstory, occupation etc.) it made DMing for me not fun, and ruined the game for the other players. They stopped playing with us and the game became a lot more enjoyable.
Honestly, In my first campiagn as a player, me (Sorccer) and my Friend (Bard) just constantly RP'ed that we were just watching the rest of the party argue
i got one "when the DM uses the wrong music" there you explore a dungeon then you find a big plot point/quest item but the DM has the jurassic park flute theme ruins the experience/immersion but if you find a vine and a song that corresponds to this then dear god you are truly an unstoppable maniac
Matt? is that you? Listen dude I can’t control what Siri decides to play next, I’m a little busy running the damn game to be a DJ. You don’t like the music? You be in charge of it or run a game yourself and see how easy it is! Lol.
I think its just that both are full spellcasters that are charismatic so they often fight for the same social position but *also* probably are into each other
Funny story, one session our fighter used animal handling to 'tame' a wolf. Our DM wasn't convinced to make it anything other that a normal wolf. The next session the druid joined the campaign. We spent 1/4 of the session failing to figure out how to introduce him, until we got into a fight that we almost lost, and he decided that he wanted to be the wolf.
Why do you stretch the images to fit the frame, you don't need to do that fam the uncropped mess is part of the vine magic and without it it looks stretched. Otherwise v relatable content 10/10 dnd memes
For everyone confused about the Sorcerer/Bard relationship, it's because they're both Charisma-based casters who can serve as the face of the party. If they're both in a party there may be friction over who gets to take the lead when dealing with NPCs. The smart players pick complementary traits, playing good cop/bad cop.
So I’m gonna be making my first PC (since I’ve never actually played:’D), and I’ll be having a Druid with a chaotic good alignment Hehe, this’ll be fun
My lawful good cleric: lets waterboard the cultist Me: what kind of fabric do you want to use The cleric: his underwear Neutral good paladin: yea I can use my greataxe to cut them off Chaotic good barbarian disposing of the other dead cultists after the paladin carved "have a good day" in his chest: let me grab water from the river
My character has a lot of necklaces and believes in the stars and sun and stuff. She has around 10 necklaces on and she refuses to take them off because of her village and how much respect she gives them. But if she can't wear her necklaces she will sit outside until the party comes back. She also calls everyone sir unless told otherwise.
5:58 Our party when we visited a Kuo-toa village. The gnome ranger (RIP) had to roll not to laugh at the names. Of course, she got a Nat 1 when the very important one’s name was mentioned.
2:00 Party:okay all we need now is a support class maybe like a ranger or druid *sees a construct that can fly and sing* Party's fighter/barbarian:I found the support class
1:09 Riitu when anyone mentions Belvedere or her daughters 2:33 Fleek asking for passage through the Great Crevasse 3:50 Riitu trying to raise Pieris and Lunaria 9:20 Boarceress trying to test her potions
Rebel background? Try the blood thirsty trait.. .. please dont do the blood thirsty trait. It nearly tore our party apart and the character had to leave. And this was happening across 2 planes! 2!!!!
I am going to play a min int and/or min cha max wis druid who is the stupidest most inept piece of nature incarnate to ever live, and have a spider obsession, a bad one
You got a meme for being treated like a barbarian when you're literally one of the most competent members of your party? Because that's happening to me right now. Just because I'm a Celtic-Born Seeker (2nd Edition originally) and the only foreigner in an entirely Asian-inspired campaign. Also, screw Faerie Rings.
4:31 basically this happened to me once. Kinda freaked out the staff at the place I was in when me just swiping my hand over the I'd card reader was enough to open a door once. This door was the kind that automatically locks so someone didn't just leave it open, and a green light flashed. Dunno if the staff member escorting me bothered reporting it.
