@@khineness_352 From my understanding, it shows you are lower to the ground and it gives the defender a hesitation bc it fakes them to go one way before going the other direction. The drag is proof you are changing direction at a lower stance just like in football and basketball as well. Check 6:28 of this video (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UJcRZ8Q98RU.html) and 4:11 of this video(ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jiHy7qMUrhA.html)
@@khineness_352 I know this comment is a year old but I just thought I'd answer. For me at least dragging my foot gives the defender one more thing to look at which might give you the advantage even if its only a little bit. He may have a different opinion though.
I feel like lacrosse deserves WAY more recognition than it actually gets, its just like, "why is football so popular, but lacrosse isnt, when lacrosse is more fun?"
Because its barrier to entry is just way too high. Beyond the amount of money the gear alone costs, you have to play from an early age to be any good and club teams ain’t cheap. The result is a sport that’s mostly only accessible by rich families. Plus the fact that the biggest lacrosse scene is in the northeastern United States, carrying with it a lot of baggage of being a white boy prep school sport (like squash or water polo). It will never be as popular as a sport like football or basketball because those sports are free most places and aren’t gatekept by their reputation
What's scary about this video is that Bryce isn't even a starting attackman for the Irish. In 2021 he scored 2 goals and one assist in 6 games played. That should be an eye opener to all those parents out there who complain about their son's playing time at a D1 school!
Wtf i didn’t know you were in Austin !!! I looked up to Bryce as a freshman, I’m going into my junior year of Westlake and am starting varsity midfielder and attackman
Hey guys, I'm tryna to look for a stick suitable for middle school as a middie, I'm preferring a complete stick around 100 dollars (preferably on amazon, but anywhere is fine)
