On this segment we delve deeper into the D16a6 Head we fully ported
for maximum power and efficiency
We now work on the combustion chamber efficiency hence making sure
all are equal and perform the same, this leads to better power production chances.
We also show exactly what we do on port matching the manifold to the head perfectly by making our own intake gasket that's exactly patterned according to the actual head we are using. This allows one to perfectly match it or have a calculated step for some "anti-reversion" stuff

Awesome like always! maximum torque reaching with this job! Wonderful! What about the stock intake with the ported intake dyno comparison? It will be done at the end of the project?
@SRDmotorsports
@SRDmotorsports Год назад
Not at the end actually it will be the first test on the dyno for the D16a6 First run will use stock d16z6 intake and tune it and permitting budget we will dyno Then the ported one , same steps Last is the skunk2 intake which is it’s actual set up

I Will Open the b16 head chanbers to 84 mm for the b20.
@SRDmotorsports
@SRDmotorsports Год назад
Like I said on the video no need for the Bseries especially if u don’t have “too high” or a comp cuz more chamber volume = lowers comp And like I said on the video the B series is ALOT better in consistency than the Dseries

@@SRDmotorsports By the way, how much quench do you have with your head and the 1UPs? Sorry, question was meant for the other build video
@SRDmotorsports
@SRDmotorsports Год назад
Havnt quite checked but I believe more than expected cuz the TypeR block is like 0.3-0.4mm taller than the b20 so really now just banking on “smaller and less chamber volume area” Sort of to make it compact
