Not only is it worth it but I love it! For it's purpose and function and use 3 years reliably now and how it woke up the response of the motor and it's efficiency and mpg gain over stock that's saying not just something but it saying everything ...
Basically I just used a few zip ties on the lower sides and 4 on top in the center to hold it in place then used a bunch 9f shoogooed sold at Walmart but I'm sure other goop like glues are available out here then you can either leave zip ties in place or cut out after goop dries , the whole assembly was trimmed and holes drilled were needed to do this then when all was set n done I just installed the fan shroud in like normal with the fan installed 8nto the shroud n hooked it back 8nto my 4 prong relay I bought at AutoZone that's wired up to battery n grounded then ran a light up push button switch to the accessable in on the relay so the relay gets the ok to turn on from the switch in the cab to kick on the fan and I tapped into 1 of the power terminals off of the battery to power up the on/off switch and this also turns on the LED light in the on/off switch but remember you need a 4 prong relay 1st ok that's what takes the initial amperage hit that the motor in the fan requires to work because if wired directly to an on / off switch it will son get hot n melt or either catch fire or just not work n possibly you can overheat your engine if not paying attention ok ? Now there may be relayed switches out there in the market I'm not sure so I did mine the easy simple safe way I know how to do on my setup.. good luck
