I love how clean it looks and I'm happy that ur happy... But bro.. u said SO MANY things incorrectly and described SO MANY things completely wrong! Maybe u know what's up but just don't know how to explain it all, but I REALLY hope people don't go by ur words. Honestly, it's prolly better for people to just pause and screenshot for picture reference, not for information.
Also what kinda of sub box are you using , is truck ext cab or single already know what single cab setup would be, but wouldn't mind having a decent ported 10" sub box and know air space internally depending on sub manufacturer recommendation, thinkin 1.75- 2.0 cubic feet but also have read it also depends on the Rms power planning to run smaller the box the more power required to meet hz target 35-40 would be preferred? Dont know anything about truck enclosures compared to a trunk of a car or wagon ?
Lol yeah yeah first nissan ever had i currently have its 89 d21 Se with spi originally, but swaped motor for vg33e unfortunately wasn't aware of pathfinder being the wrong motor to use, however didnt have everything for mpfi system such as i.m,t.b,ecu etc and was going threw hell with spi system that was on original motor so swaped for a weber 2 barrel similar to yours and yes very reliable and know i see those fuse links arent required gonna be next task but as soon as possible im going to mpfi just because of lack of power and feel 2 barrel isnt supplying enough air fuel threw the rectangle open hole beneath carb adapter plate and feeding 6 cylinders threw a hole 3"×2 1/2" diameter also have to constantly adjust carb for weather changes where efi does byself but if truck had that 4cyl u have it would've definitely been turbocharged as my integra gsr feels more powerful than vg33 truck currently has also have power steering problem cause of belt orientation from old motor vs new motors rib styled belts vs v belt original power steering pump has and Crankshaft pully belt orientation is different but so far love the nissan badge good info thanks
Hah, since I put an O2 sensor in my car with a wideband gauge, I've been experimenting with the idle circuit. I had the same issue with the blip - same issue, idle adjust screws. I think I MAY need bigger jets as the O2 sensor is telling me that I'm running a little lean (overall low side of 14) and at WOT it's getting like 10-11 AFR - it's a 2.0L engine with a mild tune.
I bought a 97 Nissan Hardbody in 1998. I think I was the first person on the planet with a Billet intake. Looked like yours, but it was all chrome and ALWAYS came loose no matter how tight you made the bolts. I also had the Doug Thorley headers. Man, those were the days. Haha. Nice truck.
Can you move uour seat all the way back with that sub set up im tall an im not trying to give up much leg room. If so would you mind dropping the the box and sub brand
Thank you for putting out really good information and it’s impressive to how you understand all that with the electrical and fuel and air. If you ever start taking in customers to do what you did to yours? I would really be open to setting an appointment to get it done. I really want to get it running and looking as good as yours. But in the meantime I’m going to continue to work on it myself. I even have some Nissan rims that I’d trade too as an option. They don’t have a scratch on them and they say Nissan and have all the emblems on them. Lmk Bro
Does your electrical system always have a constant 12v system now, because I believe the alternator wire runs from the alternator to the fuse box inside? So would soldering all those fuse able links to the battery give the electronics inside the truck a constant 12v circuit?
Hey, I'm running a 38 Outlaw on a 1985 720 with the Z24 motor. Idles fine but it does have that soft spot, that little bit of bogginess around 2000-2500rpm before it really comes alive above 3000rpm. I was sorta figuring it was bogging because it was getting too much fuel and that maybe I need to step down to 140 or 135mm on the main jets. Am I wrong? Should I be trying bigger jets too? Should I be trying different idle jets? Seems to be idling fine, but there is a bit of carbon at the tailpipe...
Hey how do you that the other port in the carb weber is the return outlet , because imma get a pressure regulater that is 1-6 psi but doesnt have a return port , so im trying to figur oit where im going to commect the return hose to, but i seen you connected it to the other port , and on mines its plugged off but i have a female connecteer where i could plug in and use it for my return
I get no turn signals but head lights turn on and brake pedal turns brake lights on I get no tail lights or run signals. I'm waiting for new hazardlight switch I removed it it was busted. And I switched my signal light switch. Checked fuses inside, look good. I gust ordered 2 fusable links from nissan.
The small triangular panel, by ur left foot (when ur sitting in the driver's seat), hides the flashing unit.. it's a black box thats about the same size as ur relays. It's 3 prong on my 92 hardbody but I know some companies make 2 prong.. don't buy the wrong one! Instead of buying LEDs and putting a resistor on all the bulbs (sorta defeats the purpose of LEDs when it comes to power draw), just install LEDs, and buy an LED flashing unit. I got mine at advance auto parts for about 10 bucks. Works just fine and no more hot resistors! It's made by Novità and the part number is EP34
Just got a 95 d21 4x4 Put a new exhaust manifold and some pipes... But I am with on how it sounds Like if I am trying to race some one lol I hate it 😂 I will take this into count so I can make it quiet... And I love how clean under the hood your is... 🤘 I also see that you don't have the smog system did you just take it out I don't have mines connected...
I have a BMW 2.5 liter which came by factory with two carburetors. Recently I upgraded to two Weber 38/38, car has a hard time starting (I have to crank the motor with the gas pedal all the way down for it to start) then it idles good to about 1500 RPM, pretty steady but when I press the gas pedal a little hard it bogs down badly. Spark plugs are WAY too black and idle mixture screws are only one turn out. It’s currently running on 55 idle jets, I’m planning to go to 45 idle jets and also go down a couple of sizes on the main jets and up a couple sizes on air correctors. Overall do you think it’s a good plan? What could be the cause of bogging when pressing the accelerator pedal too quickly? Also should I also mess with my emulsion tubes? Thank you! I appreciate your videos!
