Poppa dukes getting busy yo for real 👊👍✌. Miss having mine around hanging out with me screaming at me rushing me you done yet hurry up you hungry lool much respect nothing like pops helping sons out. ✌
I like those old school wheels because when you remove the hole wheel the tire gets removed first then the rim and that makes it a lot easier to remove the tire without using the tire machine
Ive never seen a a bus with a driver side entry door behind the driver, pretty cool. So all you had to do was swap on the hub and install the drum for bud wheels?
Yooo Dillion! Want to let you know that I bought my bus! You have been a huge inspiration to me and gave me confidence in buying my bus. I'm gonna make a video so you can see it, and leave the link in a future videos comments. Keep hanging around them mad-kanics for me! Thanks!
That driver side door tho? Never seen that before. You need to chrome those 10 lug joints. So what you gonna do with the bus? convert it or just drive it around yellow.
Hey, your dad showed you how to do the first one, now man up and show him you learned something by doing the next one. Pay him? Nah, make him proud by showing him you learned something.
Hello, I have a S1900 that I wanna convert to 10 lug, It's a 1982 International 4 door. Did you have any issues with the wheel bearings being a different size ?? I have a local salvage yard that will sell me everything, But he says that the bearings are probably different sizes !!???. Any help will be appreciated. I HATE the Dayton Wheels !! I can't ever get them balanced and the rears always wobble !! Can you swap the rears to 10 lug also ??? Thanks again for the video !!!.
great video i just got my first bus about 1 month ago to make a tiny house rv and want to do this any own now if the rears and the same like the front rear if so that not hard to do
Bro I have a 95 International 3800 but mine has disc brakes and no air brakes. How would I swap out from a 5 lug Dayton 10 lug? Do I need to change my rear axle?
Old video, I hope your Dad is still there and you are spending time learning from him. He is a working man. Hope you are helping him so you learn from it, seems like he knows an awful lot.
Bye bye star spider wheels, or dayton as known, the 10 lug wheels take over the old fashioned spoke wheels in the USA. The unique manufacturer of those kind of wheels is Webb Wheel.
Guess what I’m doing to my spiders. I hate them, they slip, go off balance when working off-road and they’re heavy af. Cheers for the video, 🍻 to your old man
Nope sure.... my bus was a 99 international and the bus I got the 10 lug was from a 2000 international so it was a perfect fix. Maybe you need to find a ford with 10 lug and maybe it will work.
Derrick Chamblee did you ever get your l9000 converted over to 10 lug? I’ve got a 1972 l9000 Detroit with 10 lug rear already but the front is spider hub style. What year front hubs do I need?
He should have directed you step by step how to do it yourself! You literally sat there and watched an old man do heavy labor right in front of you, sad... Very sad it speaks volumes about who you are as a person
Hey man is that conversion something you could get at any international dealer?I'm purchasing a 67 loadstar and would appreciate any info concerning this swap. Thanks
Here is a Dayton spoke to Hub-pilot conversation on a semi trailer. Note that that trailer still had locking ring rims on it (very dangerous to handle). That bus came with tubeless rims (much safer) now and when it used to have the Dayton Spokes. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZXw46A2QOu8.html
You're going to have to get hubs and drums off of a hub pilot wheel truck that is the same. It is very unusual to see Dayton rims on a newer truck like that. However there is no real advantage or benefit to using hub pilots over Daytons. Once you know how to true Daytons when installing, they will run straight, and Daytons are far stronger. I'm really confused why the video poster did all of this work, just to put on another set of steel wheels.
Dayton’s are “Badd-Ass”. I would never change out my Dayton’s Is it possible to do the conversion the outlet way round? From hub centres to Dayton’s? I mean I don’t see why not
Random Stuff In Oregon I think in New York and a few other places they do that because it is safer and more efficient to have two doors with all the lanes of traffic and how congested it can get it is best to not have kids crossing the road.
