Daily post- Lucchese Boot Company about the brand, the build and why they are our Favorite Boots 

I love Lucchese. Ive been wearing boots for over 10 years (a cheap brand, bougth em new for 180 at the time) but two years ago I found a pair of Lucchese Classics in a vintage store (for 120 bucks!) that just fit like a damn glove. I was already blown away by the way boots fit in general but nothing compares to those Lucchese Classics. A while after I bought them I went to the only dealer in my country (Netherlands) to see what they were initially worth, and found out they were made to order and probably worth over 1300 bucks. About two weeks ago I was looking for cheap riding boots and hit the same store, found another pair of Classics that fit just as amazing as my first pair. Couldnt believe my luck.

Lucchese workers in El Paso Texas are nearly all Mexicans ha south or north of the border are the same people crafting them who have generations of experience in boot making Cheers from Salt Lake city! awesome channel and fantastic work!!

I bought some Lucchese boots 5 years ago at a western store in Austin called Cavender's and they still look and feel great.

Lucchese has legacy. They have made boots for President Lyndon B. Johnson, Bush Sr., Bush Jr., and Obama to name a few. They have made boots for Tommy Lasorda, Fernando Valenzuela, Karl Malone, and Big Papi. The Terminator himself came down to El Paso, TX to take a tour and took a picture with my dad. The members of the country band Midland have custom made boots from Lucchese. If you buy a pair of Lucchese today you have bought boots from bootmakers who have made boots for over 40 years. They started with Dan Post and ACME boots before Lucchese moved to El Paso.

9 dollars must have been crazy expensive back then for boots! I know my great grandpa bought 3 acres for 50 dollars in the early 20s outside San Antonio.

I just got a black pair of caiman with buffalo leather and im in love with them.

I had a nice pair of Lucchese boots back in the early 2000s. They were a black cherry color of the Seville boots with square toe that slanted downward instead of the straight square toe like today. I noticed over the years how the price of them skyrocketed from when I first bought them. I paid about 350.00 for the first pair, had an issue with them and then found them in another shop that discounted them because of a flaw, the discount was to about 425.00 because they were about 575.00 at the time. Before they discontinued them last year, they were 1150.00, which is ridiculous. If goatskin was that expensive, then why is the Lonestar boots considerably cheaper. I think they wanted to discontinue them a longer time back but people were really loving them.

I found a pair of those black full quill ostrich Lucchese 2000’s on eBay for $200. They are in phenomenal condition and appear to be resolved, but that’s fine with me because the skin is in great condition!

My Lucchese Trents have Brass Tack construction from the factory. It even says so on their website. So, they don't always have Lemon Pegs.

My only pair of Lucchese are my goto boots. I still wear my Chisos and Tony Lama on occasion, but the Lucchese get first pick...All my chicom made ariat went to the Salvation Army donation bin.

I noticed the womens lines are more often made in Mexico vs Mens brands.

I ordered a custom pair of boots from Lucchese at the Hotel Drover in Fort Worth and haven't looked back. I'm a 13.5B so finding boot that fit comfortably is always a struggle. As for the price of boots, I'd guess $10. That's probably too high and I'm underestimating inflation.

Regarding recrafting: is it possible to size up 1/2 -1 size? I have some (lizard skin) Tony Lama’s nearly 30 years old and very lightly worn my feet have grown a bit.

FWIW, My Luccheses fit a bit more loosely (more heel slip, looser across the instep) than my old Dan Posts or Tony Lama Black Labels.

If you have lucchese classic handmades please don’t resole them anywhere else. Lucchese factory will resole them for you. Only the classics though. Once they are resoled elsewhere lucchese will not touch them

I just counted my Cabo boot collection 10 pairs can’t find one of them and I just finish cleaning them shining them I wouldn’t say shining but moisturizing them had the soles what was winter Ropers put on them because I live in the city and I want to better soul not resolve but protecting so nicely done I guess it’s worth 100 bucks no I didn’t get all tan I got three pairs done and I noticed some thunder really old pair and I just saw him give it a good wash and Moisturize them wow they look nice brand new heels have to be fixed and then have them raise the bed are additional babies three eights to it at all but they’re only a size 6 why did I buy a size 6 I have a tendency boots fit smaller than dress shoes I don’t think skates I’ll take a smaller pair wearing shoes I take a smaller pair dress shoes never buy have Saenz always go for side and don’t forget I’m getting older getting fatter now my boots fit really perfectly on my calves.... Dressy boots now another seven pairs maybe I don’t remember anymore, LOL oh yeah one style I have in three colours because they are so beautiful but I can’t do 3 1/2 inch heels I can go up as high as 3 1/4 go figure, LOL I guess it’s old age and I got to go walk miles in heels now I just can barely make it one block

I love Lucchese for their looks but they’re uncomfortable. I had 2 pairs and only wore them about 3x and through them out. Comfort and looks can go together

Lucchese Men's Comanche Western Boots - Round Toe, is made in Brazil and boot repair men in my area will not try to repair them. They are nice wearing but will not last, and will not be repaired. DON'T BUY THEM !!!
