I know the shine is all on Sydney. However we have to get Dalilah some props. That woman haven’t had a race in months. Sick with Covid twice, also had a hamstring injury. I’m sure she could have ran alittle faster. I’m happy she even got a medal. Well done. I know she still have more to prove.

Here is the thing. Why did the press not give Dalilah the same kind of shine🤎 for her continued excellence. I think we all know the answer to that.🤔. I would compare it to the way the press does Lamar Jackson compared to Patrick Mahomes. Also they give Patrick Mahomes all of the endorsement deals and Lamar Jackson nothing even though he was an MVP of the NFL 3 Years ago. And his winning record is great.💥

Processing the lactic acid is what I discovered at 16 running the 440. Yes yards, I'm an old dude when the 440 yard race existed! I was fast in my youth and set some records in the 440 but I never could pace myself to effectively avoid the extreme muscle fatigue on the back stretch and actually locked up when I thought I could run at a 100 yard pace that far. With this time she would have been 4th at the Eugene World Championships. It's amazing for such a young girl! How much faster is it 5 years later? Where was Femke during the Sydney 50.68? More than 10 meters behind! Sydney is faster! At the Olympics they jumped the hurdle together at the start of the straight line, but on the finish line Femke was 5 meters behind. What makes Syd strong is her resistance which allows her to finish her race faster than the other girls.

You got to be really annoyed with how these "reporters/interviewers" continue to ask the track athletes questions, after they break records, that are filled with doping innuendos. They did it with Shericka Jackson too after she ran the second fastest time in the women's 200m. These guys need to be checked. Of course Sydney ignored that person's remarks and stayed centered and undistracted.

As much as I was rooting for Delilah, it would not make me diminish what Sydney has done in such a short period of time. Glad that one is off the record books. Now Athing Mu or Keely Hodgkinson need to remove her 800m outdoor record from the books!!
