The return of Victoria Principal as Pamela Barnes Ewing would have been amazing but only if JR was still alive and those two could battle it out once again! Also, Ann’s face was definitely horrified with the thought of Pam coming back to Dallas! lol 😂
I knew Principal wasnt coming back BUT it almost seemed as if they was working on a recast of sorts, since Pam's name came up ALOT. I tend to think think the next season we would have seen a Pam appear and cause tension between Ann and Bobby, but i def wouldnt have been Victoria. Im not even sure if she was asked to appear but even if so she made it clear she didnt want anything to do with the new show.
What angered ME most about the new insides of SOuthfork is how it wasnt addressed as to WHY it looked dramatically different. A simple "was time for complete renovations" by a character was all that it took. Did it ever get addressed how long SUe Ellen had been bad from England and divorced from Don Lockwood? And where did Garrison Southworths grave stone go that was clearly next to Ms. Ellie's in the original series?
The interior of SF was a character of the show, in and of itself. There might have been minor changes in the original but the essence of what was the SF interior never changed, except for the magical appearing hallway, upstairs which I loved. the ONLY thing that should have changed w/ the SF interior should’ve been minor things like drapes, chairs, paint, sofas, etc. What they did the the interior of SF, hurt the show, a great deal. I was angry when I saw what they did to the interior. The family room should’ve been where it always was and the dining room should live been the same, with before-dinner drinks in the family room and breakfast and dinner, across the way. They also had a deep fascination with showing the backside of the house, from afar, often. Never, did we see the grand front of the home, before a scene took place.
Why they just didn't have her demised as a dream like they did Bobby, the reason she never returned cause she was killed off and never returned for a reunion
Me to! What a huge let down and build up forthe audience. I did however pretty much figure out it wasnt Katherine as Morgan Brittany had said no one had approached her as no one had approached Victoria Principal about a role. Pam , JR, and Bobby to me were always the three core characters and it was no surprise to me once Hagman passed and Principal wasnt included that the show would go away fast. Morgan Brittany could have carried the show as the main female lead for a few years i bet. She still looks good and that character of Katherine had some great edge. She scared me as a kid haha!

Didn't Angelica Nero use the last name Barret as an alias during her time on the show? I seen the name Barret next to Pam's signature and it reminded me of that
She is John Ross and Christopher are blood cousins because their mothers are sisters but since Kristin died when Christopher was a baby Pam is the only mother he knows.
I'm kicking myself for never watching the show so you're trying to tell me that Pamela was still alive and by the way was it ever revealed that Christopher Ewing was the illegitimate son of Jr and Cally Shepherd Sue Ellen's dead sister?
In my mind jr ewing helped to try to kill Pamela ewing in an explosion in 1987 but Pamela survived just because she wouldn't stay out of ewing business
